As I stated last week at Animosity, Hysteria didn't go exactly as planned for me. Sure, I didn't quite win the Volitionary Championship like I had wanted to but I was still able to stop Russell Franchise from winning it as well.
I got into the mind of Russell so much that he had to come out and retaliate last week. He became so infuriated that he needed to attack, I'm taking him out of his shell. I offered a match for Russ at the next Pay Per View and I expect an answer this week. If Russ thinks he can defeat me one on one, then I'll see him at Ravaged and I'll snap his ankle.
This week I face off against Alex Benjamin in his debut match here in TGW. I'm not going to say a lot about Alex because there isn't much to say. He's partnered up with Lance Peterson, he has some talent, and for all I know he could be the next best thing here in TGW. We're going to have to wait another week though to see what he really has to offer. I'm beaten, I'm bruised, and I'm walking with a limp.
I'm still going to walk into Animosity with more talent the the entire roster. Jessica Blake can carry around the Volitionary Title for now, warm it up for me. Shine it up and take care of it, because after I go through Benjamin, break the ankle of Franchise, and then I'm going to be coming for that belt.
Benjamin, use this Tuesday to see how a real TGW star preforms in the ring. Let Tuesday night be a measuring stick as where you need to be in order to make it. I won't say that it'll be a clinic, I'm not at 100% remember, but I will show you how to get things done in the ring. You're debut is going to come to a nasty, Last Call. Monday, April 12th, 2010. 10:52pm Venice Beach, California The air is cool, barely 60 degrees. AJ Adams sits on the beach in a lawn chair, bottle of water in his hands. He has a pair of big sunglasses on, a hooded jacket covering his head. “The beach here in Venice is so much better than the one in San Diego. Sure, I have my hot spots I love to go to but the beach, just something about it lacks in San Diego. Something about just sitting here under the stars on a cool night is relaxing. Over the past couple weeks I've been so stressed, not myself. Ever since Cassie left I'm been on edge and taking it out on everyone around me. That bar fight a few weeks back was the breaking point, it really put things into perspective.” Adams finishes off the water bottle and stretches out, putting his hands into his jacket pockets. “I really enjoyed it. I was never one to get jollies of beating the hell out of someone but that fight, just letting instinct kick in felt so good. That's why I told Russell I plan on breaking his ankle at Ravaged. Knowing that I'll be putting Franchise on the shelve makes me feel at ease. Knowing that this week I'll be crushing the dreams of someone's debut match makes me smile. Believing that Jessica Blake won't be holding that title once she faces off against me makes feel at peace.” Adams kicks back and rests his head on the chair, his sunglasses sliding down and his eyes are closed. “Benjamin, your instant highlight is going to be me connecting with the Last Call to end the match. You're going to start your highlight reel with a loss, but don't worry because losing to me isn't like losing to someone like Lina Perego or some nobody. You'll be losing to a former TGW Champion and one of the most popular stars in the company. Remember, it's nothing personal. Isn't that what you say? Animosity is just going to be yet another stop for me on the quest to ending the career of Russell Franchise and to capture the Volitionary Championship and you're just a notch in the belt. I'll see you tomorrow night.”
