This afternoon TGW founder Wade Mason held his usual Monday afternoon meeting to discuss the things going on the True Glory and made a few announcements.
"In keeping with the style of last week, TGW is going even more interactive. As you know True Glory doesn't have a fancy official website like a lot of our competition does, as we have it simple right now. Plus, honestly I'm not very computer savvy. As we move forward we aim to be more interactive for people that browse what we do have, so you will see small things pop up. Such as superstar pages connected with a picture, like you would on most websites. Hopefully by the end of the week even all of the Staff members will have a page that allows people to see who everyone is.
Next on the agenda was going to be the details of how the champions would be determined...
I've decided to hold that till next week when we announce our first card. I will however tell you that neither of the belts will be decided until our first Pay Per View, next month. I will also explain the secondary title. I've received a few questions about it so I thought I'd address it. The Volitionary Title is in a style that is growing in certain areas. The word volition means free will. This title will give the holder a bit of free will when it comes to matches. Think of it as a champions choice championship.
As far as non-world title belts, once TGW hits a number of 16 superstars, a National Title will be introduced.
Next up, I have a small look into our first show. On the first episode of Animosity we will see the 'A' Game Russell Franchise taking on Kaori Shikagami! On Friday night I'll release another match up, then on Monday the full card will be released.
Lastly, I want to thank the people that are believing in True Glory. I'd like to thank Kyle Cross for being our ambassador between the Legacy Project and True Glory. I want to thank the fans that are spreading the word about us and are excited for our first show. As August 24th approaches I promise you nothing but the best of my ability to make True Glory the next greatest thing in wrestling. Thank you."
After the news conference was over, Mr. Mason was asked a few questions about how many other people they were in talks with as far as contracts were.
"A handful. I've been contacted by agents for a few different stars talking of interest but wanted to see how TGW did as it got off the ground. I feel sorry for those folks that aren't taking a chance to help get it off the ground and that are waiting. I ask them, why not be apart of the launch of a great thing rather than see it grow then throw yourself in? There are plenty of people out there and it's just a matter of myself, my scouts, and everyone to point them our way."
He was then asked if he could touch on the titles at all.
"You know...I will say a few things, why not? Everyone will get a chance so to speak. It's going to be random in a way, but at the same time it'll take winning your matches and having a lot of faith and heart."
