Tonight on TGW's Animosity our main event will see Russell Franchise looking to take out Chris Maddox. Maddox made his debut last week against King Hunter and picked up the victory, Franchise beat AJ Adams via knockout but replays show Adams playing possum. Just another mind game from Adams against Franchise.
I also have word that TGW Majority Owner, Alli Taylor, will address rumors of a possible deal going down between TGW and the NeWA. Let's get tonight started off with some action!
AJ Adams Vs. Alyson Starr
Adams makes his way to the ring with his usual mixed reaction and a grin on his face as the replays from last week air on the screen for the crowd, clearly showing Adams looking up and playing possum to Franchise allowing him to pick up the win. As Adams waits in the ring, Alli Taylor appears on the screen.
Alli Taylor: ”AJ, I'm sorry to inform you but Starr is unable to preform tonight and is being placed on an...indefinite leave of absence. As of this moment all members of the Sirens are suspended under further notice.”
The fans begin to boo as the announcement is given.
Alli Taylor: ”But don't worry AJ, I have a replacement for you.”
Adams seems puzzled as he looks up towards the ramp awaiting his opponent only to be attacked by someone from behind. A man standing a few inches taller than Adams mounts the former champ and delivers lefts and rights. A black ski mask hides his face as Adams tries to fight back. The masked man jumps to his feet as Adams climbs to his and a bell sounds!
Adams hits a hard kick to the gut and looks for a suplex only to be hit with lefts and rights to his ribcage. The masked man hits the ropes and connects with a flip over neckbreaker and rolls to his feet. Adams hits the mat hard before getting back up slowly, dizzy. Adams is hit with a left elbow before getting dropped with a DDT in the middle of the ring. Cover! 1...2..kickout!
Adams throws his arm up and the fans cheer him on. The masked man pulls Adams to his feet and they start to exchange a few lefts and right but the masked man clearly is hitting harder than Adams. Adams falls to a knee and swings at the midsection of the masked man. Adams is whipped across the ring and is caught with a tilt-a-whirl slam in the middle of the ring. The masked man starts to climb the turnbuckle and dives, hitting a frog splash on Adams. He thinks about covering but pulls Adams to his feet and the fans are booing him.
The masked man sets Adams up between his legs and throws his arms out to taunt the fans. He hooks the arms and lifts Adams up, spinning him and dropping him with a sitdown facebuster (Angels Wings). He covers and gets the 3 count.
Winner: Unknown [Pinfall]
Adams rolls out of the ring and falls to the floor and leans up against the barricade as the masked man leaves up the ramp and behind the curtain.
Backstage TGW Interviewer, Kirsten Shelley, stands by with Alli Taylor in front of a TGW backdrop. Both women smile as they turn towards each other.
Kirsten Shelley: ”Ladies and gentlemen, I'm joined tonight with TGW's Majority Owner, Alli Taylor. Ms. Taylor, we are in the second week of TGW's relaunch and already there are so many questions. Earlier tonight you put all 3 women of the Sirens on a leave of absence, including the temporary Volitionary Champion, Alyson Starr. First off, why?
Alli Taylor: ”Don't worry this isn't some sort of get them out of the company because of who they are and the relationship of Wade Mason and Jessica Blake. This is simply because the 3 remaining members haven't come to terms with the legal department's new contracts and to ensure no problems, I'm giving them some time off until they have their contract situation fixed. What that means for the Volitionary Championship is over the next few weeks we'll address the issue just as the TGW Championship.
The Volitionary Championship has only seen two champions because it's been a selective title to win. Each winner has been deserving and worked to achieve it and that will continue. AJ Adams might think the title should be handed to him but if he wants it, he'll work for it just as Franchise and Blake did before him.”
Kirsten Shelley: ”The other big thing going around is your recent meetings with representatives of the NeWA, is there some sort of affiliation about to happen similar to TGW's old deal with the CWC?”
Alli Taylor: ”I can't comment directly about any sort of deal until there is something to actually report to you. I can tell you that the NeWA and CWC opperate a little differently. In the CWC you would try to book one of their champions in a match against your roster and then wait for it to be accepted and booked and it was just a hassle. That's why you never saw any CWC Title match in TGW. CWC was more centered around about twelve feds coming to one place and see who had the bigger stick and compete in the ring.
The NeWA sends out one of their three champions and they tour to a different fed each month to defend. IF we became some sort of member it would be similar to how the NWA does their business. It would keep TGW active in a community of sorts, allow for new matches and title chances, and give TGW some great exposure.”
Kirsten Shelley: ”So nothing is confirmed?”
Alli Taylor: ”Correct. I went to learn about how they do business because I want nothing more than for TGW to grow and will only put it in the best situation for it. It's all about doing what is best for the future of our company and making it the best it can be. If something happens you'll find it on trueglorywrestling.webs.com/newsandrumors.htm first thing. TrueGlory online is the best place to find what you need and any breaking news is reported as we know it.
With the cheap plug Taylor nods at the camera and smiles as she reaches into her pocket for her phone.
Alli Taylor: ”If you'll excuse me, I must take this.”
Kirsten Shelley: ”Thank you for your time.”
King Hunter Vs. Roland Dunkirk
Hunter stands in the ring and is looking to bounce back from his loss last week against Chris Maddox in his debut match but he did have an impressive showing in the loss. Dunkirk scored a victory over Alyson Starr and hopes to keep on rolling.
Dunkirk charges and lands a few early left and rights on his opponent and drops him with dragon screw leg whip to surprise Hunter as he rolls to his knees. Dunkirk charges again but Hunter jumps to his feet and levels him with a hard shortarm clothesline that rocks Dunkirk. Hunter jumps to his feet and hits his chest a few times as he pulls his opponent back to his feet and pushes him into the corner before unloading a hard barrage of left and right forearms. Dunkirk starts to fall forward and Hunter hits a sit down spinebuster.
Dunkirk is out of it after hitting his head hard on the mat but he continues, he grabs the bottom rope and uses it to start to pull himself up. Hunter watches on letting reach his feet slowly. Dunkirk swings and seems to get a burst of energy, connecting with lefts and rights sending Hunter stumbling. Dunkirk looks for an arm drag to get his opponent to the mat but Hunter connects with a knee to the gut and sets him up. Hunter hits the Crucified on Dunkirk and covers for the win!
Winner: King Hunter [Pinfall]
[/right]In the backstage area we see AJ Adams sitting in a folding chair getting looked over by a member of the medical staff as Russell Franchise starts to walk past. Franchise just shakes his head and smiles, walking past his rival.
AJ Adams: ”Hey Russ, don't think that this is over. It's not by a long shot.”
Franchise stops and turns around and simply takes a step towards Adams, his face turning serious.
Russell Franchise: ”AJ, you're right. It isn't over until you admit that you had something to do with the drug test and until I beat you down till you can't move. THAT'S when it'll be over.”
AJ Adams: ”Talk.”
Franchise turns away and heads towards the ramp for his match.
Have you checked out TGW Online recently? Here is something you may have missed in the past week!
Russell Franchise: Chris, if there is one thing that I know since being here in TGW, it's that championship matches aren't given, but earned! You want the title, you gotta earn the right to get the shot! Looking at my body of work, why wouldn't you give me a shot at the title! But you got some work to do, Chris! But, if you want that reference that tells the world that you can do almost anything, you better stop me!
AJ, we're not finished either! I know your game sir! I don't like it! I know nothing would make you happier than to show up and cost me a shot at the title! That's why I promise you, AJ, if you show up, you better beat me to an inch of my life, because I will be on you like oil in the Gulf of Mexico!
Russell Franchise Vs. Chris Maddox
The fans are on their feet as we are set for our main event of the evening. Both men have made it clear they want the TGW Championship around their waist. Russell Franchise is out to do the same as AJ Adams, be the first person to hold each the TGW Title and the Volitionary Championship. Chris Maddox is the looking to make a quick climb up the ladder as he looked impressive last week in his first match by picking up a victory.
Franchise and Maddox stand in the middle of the ring as the bell sounds to start our match. The two men lock up and a shoving match starts as Maddox then looks for a clothesline and drops Franchise. The A Game pops right back up to his feet and lands a hard elbow followed by a forearm smash. Maddox stumbles and hits the ropes and spears his opponent into the nearest corner. Maddox hits a few shoulder blocks into the chest of Franchise before whipping him across the ring into the farthest corner. Maddox charges and hits a hard spear that doubles Franchise over. Maddox backs up and connects with a had left hook.
Maddox locks in a single leg crab but Franchise is quick to battle out. Franchise gets to his feet and lifts Maddox up and drops him with a spinebuster. The A Game locks in an armbar for a second and in an instant flips Maddox around and hooks his arm into a sleeper. Maddox starts to fade! The referee starts the count but Maddox is to a knee, he elbows Franchise and breaks the hold. Maddox hits a spinning heel kick that stuns Franchise but he's able to stand.
These two men are beating the hell out of each other.
Maddox starts to regain the upper hand as he drops Franchise with a Maddox Driver '06. Maddox goes for the cover but only gets 2 as the fans cheer on Franchise. Both men get back to their feet and Maddox comes off the ropes and is met with the Game Changer! Franchise is jumping up and down and is ready to finish this. He starts to pull Maddox to his feet and here comes AJ Adams! Adams is on the ramp and Franchise turns his attention to the stage and begins to yell at him. Maddox is up and he spins Franchise around and hits the Maddox Effect! Maddox looks down at Franchise and slides out of the ring, pulling him by his feet to follow. Maddox kicks the ribs of Franchise up the ramp and here comes Adams!
The two men start to attack Franchise and the bell sounds!
Winner: Double Countout
Adams sends Franchise into the steel stairs and Maddox follows it up with a hard boot to the face. Maddox starts to pick Franchise up and carries him to the backstage area. Around the corner is a dumpster that happens to be perfectly placed as Maddox tosses Franchise in, dropping the lid and locking the top. Maddox and Adams each get on the end and start to push and wheel the dumpster and send it out the door and down a small hill where it topples over with Franchise inside! Maddox looks on smiling as we fade to black.
