Tonight TGW brings you the 30th edition of Animosity, live from San Diego. Tonight's main event features the new team of Chris Maddox and new comer Evan Banks, America's Most Hated. AMH will be taking on Jester Chad Allen and Russell Franchise who faced off last week, only to be beaten down at the hands of their opponents this week.
The cameras cut backstage to the office of Alli Taylor, the majority owner in the midst of doing the paperwork expected of any management or ownership job. She has just finished signing an official-looking piece of paper when there is a knock at the door. Briefly looking annoyed, she manages to not let it leak into her voice when she speaks.
Alli: "Come in."
That expression of annoyance is replaced with a wide smile that is meant to be welcoming and warm, but only manages to be a clear signal of warning as a neon sign to the Southern Belle that walks into the room. Dressed to compete, Natalie Burrows' expression is a cautious sort of polite as she speaks, her manners overriding any dread she may very well be feeling at being called to the boss' office.
Natalie: "You wanted to see me, Miss Taylor?"
Alli: "Oh sweetie, there's no need to be so formal! Call me Alli."
Natalie: "Okay, then… Alli. What can I do for you?"
Alli: "Just as I saw of your work outside of TGW, you have proven to be a very talented young woman. You bested Chris Maddox all on your own without needing a single damn thing to help you - and I know that's not easy. More importantly, you've got the potential to do even more, and I am more than willing to help you get there if you do me one small favor. In your match against AJ Adams tonight, Natalie… I want you to hurt him."
Natalie visibly pales a little, her expression one of disbelief at what she is being asked to do.
Natalie: "I b-beg your pardon?!"
Alli: "End his career, Natalie, and I will put you into the TGW Championship match at No Limits right here, right now. So what do you say?"
The expression on Alli's face remains confident as the Southern Belle seemingly ponders the offer placed before her. In reality, she is simply letting what has been said truly sink in since her answer was set in stone ever since Alli first made her request… something that becomes evident when she responds, her tone decisive.
Natalie: "I decline."
Those two words shatter the façade of good will and kindness that Taylor had been using, a scowl immediately taking over the saccharine smile. It is Alli's turn to sputter in shock.
Alli: "E-Excuse me?!"
Natalie: "I said no, Miss Taylor. I'm not about to tell you to not have a problem with someone else, but I'm also not about to lower myself to something as despicable as endangering that talented man's livelihood just because you cannot find a... more mature way of dealing with your issues with other people."
If looks could kill, Natalie would be as dead as a doorknob thanks to the glare that Alli is shooting at her… but since they can't, the general manager gets the chance to respond through gritted teeth.
Alli: "You're going to regret turning me down, Natalie."
Natalie: "On the contrary, Miss Taylor… I will endure anything and everything you throw at me with a smile on my face, secure in the knowledge that I did the right thing. Good day."
The Southern Belle departs Alli's office...
Alli: "Don't you walk away from me! Get back here, you hear me?! Get back here!"
... without so much as a glance back at the general manager whose shouted words quickly devolve into a conniption fit as the cameras cut away.
Roland Dunkirk Vs. Kaji Fireson
In the first match up of the evening, we see Fireson making his TGW debut against the slipping Dunkirk. Fireson takes his time heading to the ring, taking the chance to shake hands with some fans holding signs for him. Dunkirk bounces in the ring, ready to go. Fireson slides in and we're all set to go as the bell rings. Fireson and Dunkirk lock up and exchange a set of headlocks before Dunkirk can wrestle the new comer to the mat. Dunkirk locks in an armbar and wrenches the shoulder of his opponent.
Fireson rolls and jumps to his feet, pulling Dunkirk with him and connects with a hiptoss. Dunkirk pops to his feet and is leveled with a clothesline. The Phoenix pulls Dunkirk to his feet and hits a few knee strikes to the gut before dropping him with a DDT. As Fireson climbs to his feet he starts to clap as the fans get more and more into it. Dunkirk is to his feet and walks into an European uppercut, followed by a swinging neckbreaker. Dunkirk is quick to his feet locks up with Fireson and looks for a leg whip, Fireson connects with an enziguri as the fans cheer. Fireson stands back as Dunkirk starts to stir. Just as he hits his feet, Fireson charges and connects with the Blazing Kick! He covers and it's an easy three for the win.
Winner: Kaji Fireson [Pinfall]
The cameras cut to a backstage hallway, one occupied by a rather irate-looking AJ Adams. The target of Alli's wrath is doing his best to keep it all together as he heads toward his destination, a destination he does not quite get to before being spotted.
Natalie: "Excuse me, Mister Adams?"
Adams turns around when his name is called, the Southern Belle jogging the last couple of steps to catch up with him. Politely waiting for his nod to speak, Natalie returns the gesture in greeting before she continues.
Natalie: "I just wanted to let you know that Miss Taylor came to ask for my assistance--"
AJ: "What, so now you're going to be out to drive me out of TGW, too?"
The blond shakes her head, a slightly offended expression on her face… although she cannot truly blame her opponent for being paranoid. When she replies, her tone is reassuring, warm - as if she were comforting a close friend instead of speaking with a man she barely knows.
Natalie: "Quite the contrary, actually... I declined. She was none too pleased with my decision, but I feel that whatever problem she has with you is one that she will simply need to figure out how to deal with herself instead of asking someone else to do it for her. Our match tonight will be the same as any other I have wrestled. No ulterior motives, no sneak attacks or intent to do you permanent harm… just an honest contest between two talented wrestlers to see who comes out on top."
The Southern Belle offers her left hand for a handshake.
Natalie: "Does that sound like a plan to you?"
There's a moment of hesitation as AJ looks down at the offered hand, then back up to the blue-tinted windows to the Southern Belle's soul. Whatever it is he is looking for to believe her, he finds - or so one would assume by how he takes her hand and shakes it, nodding his head.
AJ: "Yeah, it does. I'll see you out in the ring?"
Natalie: "You can count on it. Good luck, Mister Adams."
Releasing her hold on his hand, Natalie nods in parting at her opponent, a gesture he returns before they go their separate ways to finish preparing for their match later on in the show.
Have you checked out TGW Online recently? Here is something you may have missed in the past week!
'Jester' Chad Allen:
TGW, lets chat once again, I am here another week. I proved to you all I can beat the constant. I can beat the mind fuck AJ Adams. Now they put me up against their next big star Chris Maddox and his goon Banks. What is with this pathetic competition? Can’t TGW produce real stars? Produce real talent besides me. Its fine I will go to NWA and take on the best of other respected companies. Which I am sure once again will prove to be a disappointment and make me realize I am too good for this world. Maybe my fate is to walk among losers, always being unsatisfied with these pathetic wrestling attempts made by others.
Our cameras once again flash to the backstage area as we see 'Jester' Chad Allen walking backstage, staying loose before the main event. He's a few yards past the office of Alli Taylor as he stretches out his shoulders and legs. The door to the office opens as we see Taylor on her phone, walking out.
Alli Taylor: "L-let me call you right back."
Taylor hurries off the phone as she sees Allen in the hall, calling out to him.
Alli Taylor: "Mister Allen, can I talk with you in my office? I'll only take up a moment of your time."
Allen raises his head and shrugs his shoulders as Taylor holds the door open for him as they disappear into her office.
Natalie Burrows Vs. AJ Adams
Adams makes his way to the ring conservatively, even giving a look over his shoulder walking down the ramp. He walks around the ring and takes a microphone from the announce table.
AJ Adams: "Alli, I love what you're trying to do here but let me personally guarantee that at No Limits I'm going to step into the Hell in a Cell match for the Volitionary Championship and win. You can send whoever you want but it won't be enough. Just like last week and your masked attacker, nothing you do will stop me. You might have all the power right now but Wade Mason will be back and I will help him find a way to get you out of TGW once and for all."
Adams slides into the ring as the new fan favorite, Burrows, makes her way to the ring. She even takes a moment to sign a piece of paper for a fan at ringside and waves to the people on the ramp. The southern belle climbs into the ring and the bell sounds to start our match.
Adams and Burrows lock up and quickly exchange a couple of blows. Burrows lands a hard chop to the throat of her opponent sending him backwards, allowing her to step up with a jumping wheel kick. Burrows pops back up to her feet and Adams is right behind her and sends her into the nearest turnbuckle. He charges and looks for a body splash but Burrows moves, Adams getting nothing but ring post. His banged up body sore, stiff. He reaches for his rib cage after the attack from last week as Burrows looks for a clothesline. Adams ducks it and looks for the 'Nap Time' (Tazmission) but she connects with a hard elbow. She spins and takes Adams down with a snap suplex.
Burrows kips up to her feet as the fans climb to theirs in cheers. Adams uses the ropes to pull himself up and sends himself off the ropes and baseball slides under his opponent, rolling her up with a school boy that only gets two. Burrows is quick up and hits a scoop slam on Adams, he lands hard on his injured shoulder and grabs at it. He climbs to his feet and is ready to lock up. He connects with a hard left and Burrows returns the favor with a hard knife-edged chop to his chest. He looks for a clothesline but Burrows ducks it and hits a reverse DDT. She pulls Adams to his feet and sends him off the ropes, meeting him with the Grief Cycle (Tilt-a-Whirl slam) as the fans are ready for what's next. She stands back as Adams starts to stand, getting to a knee.
Burrows charges and connects with the Closure and covers for three!
Winner: Natalie Burrows [Pinfall]
'Jester' Chad Allen & Russell Franchise Vs. America's Most Hated [Maddox/Banks]
Tonight's main event is about to get underway as JCA and Franchise make their way to the ring separately, the A Game getting a nice ovation from the crowd. AMH makes their way to the ring together and are ready to get right down to business. Franchise and Banks will start off the match as the bell sounds to get us started.
Franchise and Banks share a little trash talking and Franchise gets the upper hand by exploding with lefts and rights before sending Banks off the ropes. The A Game meets his opponent with a sit down spinebuster and jumps back to his feet and pounds his chest. Franchise pulls Banks to his feet and drops him again with a hard scoop slam. Franchise tags out and here comes JCA, landing a few hard kicks on the falled Banks. JCA pulls him to his feet and connects with lifting forearm right across the throat of his opponent. Banks stumbles backwards and comes out of nowhere with a hard clothesline.
Banks turns around and tags in Maddox. Banks pulls JCA to his feet and locks him in an abdominal stretch which allows Maddox to kick JCA in the ribs. Maddox falls on JCA and starts to connect with a barrage of lefts and rights before climbs to his feet. Franchise is in the corner and tries to cheer on his partner. Maddox pulls JCA to his feet and sends him flying into the ropes and lifts him up to a fireman's carry. He connects with the Brain Damage and JCA falls to the mat. Maddox covers but Franchise is there to break up the hold. Here comes Banks and the referee is losing control.
Banks and Franchise start to battle it out in the ring before getting separated. Franchise begs for the tag and JCA crawls to the corner and slaps the hand on his partner. Here comes the A Game and Maddox is to his feet. Maddox swings but Franchise ducks and connects with a sidewalk slam. The fans are ready for it as Franchise screams, "I feel like dancin'!" The crowd participates and yells out "A Game stomp!" and Franchise starts to stomp on the chest of Maddox before running off the ropes. "REMIX!" is heard from the crowd as Franchise comes running and looks for his elbow drop, but Maddox rolls out of the way.
Maddox is to his feet and hits a shining wizard on Franchise as he starts to stand. Both men are down and slowly start to make a way to their corners. Maddox reaches out and makes the tag to Banks just as Franchise tags JCA. Both men charge in and lock up, Banks with a kick and looks for a DDT. JCA hits a northern lights suplex and rolls to his feet. Banks comes right back at him and walks into a reverse STO. Maddox starts to climb into the ring as JCA climbs the turnbuckle. Franchise charges across the ring and spears the King right out of the ring. Banks is to his feet and JCA dives, connecting with the Lethal Laughter! He covers and picks up the three count.
Winners: JCA & Franchise
JCA and Franchise stand in the ring as Banks rolls out and America's Most Hated stares at them, glaring as they head up the ramp.
