So, I decided to make the DDL area as a place for YOU to come and suggest people to check things out. They can range from new games online, XBox Live, a new movie, music to download.
It doesn't have to be new, it can be blasts from the past if it something you're really hooked on.
The example I'll use is for some reason I've had this kick about trying to download a lot of 90s/early 2000s music and I've been finding it hard to figure out exactly what I want/liked then. I stumbled across the 'Hotshot' album from Shaggy and remembered loving it because it was just so damned catchy.

Just saw Salt last night with my lady.
Lots of action, very fast paced, and in that respect it was good.
However, it's back to the Cold War era of America worrying about the Ruskis. However, it is a fresh take (imo) on the subject so that wasn't too bad. As out dated as it may have seemed, us worrying about russians and all, it kept my attention and the action was good.
There is nothing deep and underlying to the movie. It is, in all respects, just a summer action flick. But not bad if you can check it out for a matinee price.
Seeing Expendables Thursday night, CANNOT WAIT

I'm pumped for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, like you have no idea. It's going to be EPIC!
Note on above:
I saw Salt and was really mixed on it. I thought it was ok for what it was but I think it would have been better with the original actor. The movie was actually scripted as a male actor and character and Tom Cruise was set to start. He dropped out and Angie got it and the rewrote the script to make it female. Just a bit of info =)

Yeah, I read that on FSR before it was released - I think Angie is probably the top female action star at the moment (can't even think of another one worth noting).
I don't think it was the best thing ever, but for what it was and the take it took on the whole cold war thing, it's hard to complain. The way I judge those movies is if I feel if my 10.50 to see it was wasted, and this case - I didn't feel that it was.

If you've been living under a rock, go get Drake's new album. Even if you aren't a big fan of hip hop/rap. It's amazing.

Expendables is the perfect throw back to 1980s action movies but modernized enough to be relevant today. I cannot express how much I loved every single fucking second of this movie. The atmosphere at the SOLD OUT theater was ELECTRIC!
The best part however did not come during the movie, it was actually during the previews. A preview rolled for what looked like a potentially good movie, than as it ended and across the screen read "An M. Night Shamalalalanana chronicle." The entire theater groaned in disappointment. So hiliarious.
Really though, go see Expendables ASAP if you want to embark on a 2 hour thrill ride.

The hot debate among the gaming community is - that it isnt really bioshock.. Only in technical gameplay aspects, not in story is it bioshock.
Shrugs. I didn't like either Bioshock game so I'm in different. I think the debate around it is interesting though.

Scott Pilgrim was awesome.
If you like video games, you will love the movie.
I know there was a comic, but I never read it and don't intend to.

As far as Bioshock goes, it's not a sequel. It's like... Final Fantasy. It has the name and the similar gamestyle but this is set 60 years before the first Bioshock and isn't at Rapture. It'll be pretty neat.
And Scott Pilgrim was amazing. It is my second favorite movie of all time.

If you use iTunes, make sure you go to the iTunes website and update. It's not coming up like an update normally would. It has added Apple's PING feature which is a social media sort of thing for following music. You can add your friends, famous artists, etc. So far I really like it, come fine me. If you get it and need to know how to find me, just ask.
