There comes a time in every man's life when he has to throw in the towel. Maybe he's struggling against oppressors, or shitty working conditions, or his own human limitations. Maybe he's trying to persevere for pride, for money, or because he doesn't know any other way of doing things, but at the end of the day, the time will always come that he must admit defeat. Even if it is in the middle of an act of defiance, collapsing, falling away from the race, and even death is a form of defeat.
I always envisioned myself wrestling until my body literally couldn't go anymore, my heart failing in the middle of some big spot, only for me to crash to the mat, defenseless, possibly even dead, but that was before I had a wife and a daughter.
A family changes a man, you know? It gives him a reason to live beyond all the typical spoils like money and power. He wants to see his wife grow old, his daughter grow up, graduate high school, college, get married herself. He wants to live out his years, rather than whittling away at them week after week inside the demonic four-sided battleground. I've already chopped years off of my lifespan, and if I keep going, I will simply be racing towards a demise that is ever nearer.
If this sounds like a retirement speech, that's because it is, but I hesitate to utter the words "I am retiring," because I know for a fact that the moment I do, I will be itching to get back into the ring. I also have other obligations elsewhere that I cannot back out of, though it is important to note that these are tag team obligations, so I won't be going it alone.
I've wasted enough TGW airtime already, pretending to be a wrestler confident in his ability to leap back up on his horse and ride to prominence, so I'll just cut it short here. Kaji Fireson vs. Alistair Ambrosia was the last match I will wrestle in TGW, and after this month, it will probably be my last match as an individual wrestler for a good long while. I have needed a vacation for a long time, and I'm finally forcing myself to take it. Will I be back? I don't know. Will I be back here? I don't know. All I know is that my body is worn down and needs time to recharge, time I'm not going to get if I wrestle three times every two weeks. So I bid you adieu, True Glory Wrestling. Someone more deserving than me can have my spot, and I wish them and the rest of TGW all the best.
Well, except for Alli Taylor. But you all already knew that.
Kaji grins as bit as the crowd laughs a bit. Kaji drops the microphone to the canvas and moves to leave the ring.

Jessica blinks and looks at her friends surrounding her, looking confused. Alexia takes over where Alyson was and Alyson kneels down next to Cage to check on him, as Katie and Alexia escort her out of the ring. Blake walks up the ramp backwards, looking concerned for Cage, and not quite sure what happened.
