Franchise had the night off...and that was the bad news! Russell was looking forward to his match against David Blazenwing. In his short time in the squared ring, Franchise has had the privilege of facing some of the greatest wrestlers in the game. David Blazenwing was on the top of Russell's list of competitors he would love to face. He would fight him just to say that he fought one of the best wrestlers in the world. Also, he might have earned bonus points for actually beating Blazenwing one on one too! However, as Franchise stood in the ring, watching Wade Mason come to the ring to announce that Blazenwing could not make it, he felt like he would never get another chance to prove his worth against Blazenwing. But he knew to never say never and hope that his date with Blazenwing would come back around! But after the bad news came, Franchise heard some of the best news he's heard since signing with True Glory Wrestling. Franchise would actually get his hands on Ja-Gi! ------------------------------------------------------- At McHale's Pub in downtown San Diego, Franchise sat at the usual booth that he has become accustomed to. Pablo, his faithful advisor on all things life and business related, walked over 2 beautiful women who looked like they just popped out of a Vogue photo shoot to his booth. Both women, one white with blonde hair and the other black with brown hair, stood there with beauty pageant looks smiling at the lone black man in the corner booth. Pablo: Ladies, may I introduce you my friend and future Champion of True Glory Wrestling, Russell Franchise! He likes to be known as The 'A' Game! White Woman: Well, if I can ask, why do they call you The 'A' Game?
Franchise just gives her a smile. Franchise: Well, girl, if you want to know why they call me The 'A' Game, you and your friend might have to come to my place and find out!As corny as that pick up sounded, when you're a 242lb muscularly built man with a nice smile, the girls just fall for you instantly! Both girls giggle for a while! Black Woman: Oh, boy! You're so crazy!Franchise really wanted to get to know these ladies a little bit better. Yet, he had a lot to get off his chest before any more suggestive sayings were exchanged. Franchise: Ladies, please, what would you want to drink? It's on me!Russell pulls out two $100 bills out of his pocket and hands it over to the ladies! Franchise: Why don't you get yourselves some top shelf drinks at the bar and meet me back over here!White Woman: Alright, big daddy! As both women walk to the crowded bar, Pablo sits across from Franchise. Pablo: Yo, Holmes! You are slinging that game out there! Looks like you're about to release some stress in the right way. Franchise: Well, I got to get that stress out some way. Blazenwing couldn't make the match tonight, so all that preparation for nothing! Pablo: I wouldn't say that. Look, you got a big Triple Threat match next week with Jared Light and the punk bitch known as Ja Gi! I bet you're really going to let him have it for what he told you last week in the ring! Saying that he could beat your ass! I would pay to see that shit happen! Franchise: (Pause) Hey, man! Can I tell you a secret?Pablo: (Leaning in) Dude, what's up?Franchise: I know... at Animosity... I said one thing about what was said, but I didn't say the complete truth.Pablo: So, Ja Gi didn't say he could beat your ass?Franchise: Not in all it's glory. You see, in the middle of the ring, Ja Gi said that as long as I have a folder in my possession, I will always be a huge target. And it only takes one false step to lose it all. And when I do slip, he'll be there to pick up for himself. Pablo: ...wow!Franchise: So you can sense the problem in my mind. At Animosity this week, I gotta go against a man who is waiting on me to slip up! Like he's been plotting this all along.Pablo takes a quick swig of his drink of cranberry juice and Grey Goose before giving Franchise some words of advice. Pablo: Russell, I think that you're in the best position you could ever be put into. For one, you get a shot at Ja Gi! That little Asian bastard has been on your ass ever since you came to the TGW. Nobody has tried to put that little bitch in his place. You might have the chance to shut him up once and for all!Franchise: Lady Ja Gi needs to be put back in his place. He's going around thinking that he's going places in wrestling because he can say the cool things. I haven't even seen what he can do in the ring. He's a lot of talk and nothing else action wise. But come Monday, The 'A' Game is going to make an example out of him! I'm going to make him feel every inch of that arena. I'll beat his ass in the ring! I'll beat his ass on the ramp! I'll beat his ass backstage! Hell, if need be, I'll beat his ass in the upper level women's bathroom. Come this week, I'm going to be completely focused on destroying this man!Pablo: No, YOU CAN'T DO THAT!Franchise, in all his respect for his friend, could not believe the words that just came out of his mouth! Franchise: WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF JA GI?Pablo: Might I remind you that it's a Triple Threat, Falls Count Anywhere match! Also, let me remind you that you are going up against Jared Light, one of the top rookies TGW has to offer!Franchise: What does that mean?Pablo: You and Jared both have a folder! Ja-Gi, thank God, doesn't have a folder. Let's say you or Jared slip up and let Ja-Gi sneak out with a win, that means one of your folders are going to him! Ja-Gi has nothing to lose! Franchise: What are you telling me, man?Pablo: This coming match, it's going to be IMPORTANT to try to work with Light to prevent Ja-Gi from pulling the upset!Russell ponders for a second. Franchise: I think I'm feeling you, kid! If and Jared can get on the same level, we will be able to beat the shit out Ja-Gi and keep him from walking away with a folder! I think Jared is on the same thinking plane as I am! That Asian wannabe philosopher doesn't deserve a Swine Flu vaccine, much less a shot at a TGW title!Pablo: But you got to keep one thing in mind, Russell! Once you get rid of Moon, you got to take on Jared Light, and that kid had one hell of a match last week. He dominated from the word go!Franchise: Jared Light is on his way to big things, Pablo! But we both know that this is a "Yours Or Mine" match! His folder could have the TGW World Title match and mine could have the Volutionary Title match inside, or vice versa. The fact of the matter is, we both have something to lose! But I plan on walking out with what's mine...or his! It's nothing personal, just business! At Animosity, I'm walking in with a folder and walking out with a folder! If Jared wants to start some noise, I'll finish it with him. Jared Light might be good, but he's not 'A' game good!
It's time I step up my game this week, man! I didn't get to wrestle this week. However, Jared and Ja-Gi both ended up victorious this past week. They got a little pep in their step right now! My game plan is to prevent a winning streak for either of them. I plan on going to the PPV with a 2 match winning streak and then claim the World Title or Volutionary Title in front of the world! Quite honestly, the only thing that can stop me...is me!Pablo: Well, first you got to stop Ja-Gi before you get your hands on Jared. So, what do you have up your sleeves for Ja-Gi?Russell turns his head to see something outside! Franchise: I know a nice place to put that Asian piece of trash!Russell places a big smile across his face as the ladies return with their drinks! For now, it's better Russell places his attention on something other than Ja-Gi and Jared Light. Come Monday Night, the time for business will come, and he will be ready!

This is where it all begins, right? Where everything comes together in ones career and he reaches for the stars. I have one of the folders that can lead to a World Title match and I’m thankful for this opportunity but apparently I have to go into this next match with my folder on the line. Does that suck? Yes, of course but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.
You see, I am a man that knows when opportunities come knocking and I am a man who goes out and makes more if certain ones fall apart. I’ve always been that way and I always will. When I first joined The Kingdom to be trained by one of the best in King James I knew that I could be kicked out any day and replaced by another hungry rookie - but I wasn’t. Why do you think that is?
Because I’m an opportunist.
I took what the King gave me and I ran with it, I ran with it all the way to TGW. And the rest is history. My first pro match ever was a great fucking success. I went into a match with two of TGW’s best and came out on top. A rookie went in and put on the show of the night, just like I promised. I’m not trying to brag either. I’m just trying to show you all that I am a man of my word. I am the show around here and I will do so on a weekly basis for you fans. I will continue to do so this week even though the odds are stacked even higher against me. I’m going against two phenomenal competitors this week in Russell Franchise and Ja-Gi.
First and foremost I want to get one thing clear to both competitors - just because I’m a rookie doesn’t mean I don’t bring everything I can. I bring it all every time. That means I’m coming into this match looking to up show my match from last week. Can you handle that Ja-Gi? Something tells me you cannot. You are a huge talent for this company and will continue to impress me in the future but I’m just not feeling you this week.
Not only do you need to find out what matters in this fed but you need to figure out the one thing that I stand for. You need to be able to bring your heart and soul every match not just the ones you chose so. As I’ve said before I don’t feel like you are coming into this match with everything you have so I have a problem with you. You decided that your match against me was the one you didn’t want to show up to in full. That in turn shows me no respect.
Therefore I don’t respect you.
That’s a hard thing for me to say because I told myself that I would come into TGW and not have any enemies or people that I don’t like. Apparently thats going to be a lot harder than I thought at first. Now I have to come into this match and take you out of the fight first. And judging by Russell’s promo he agrees. This is going to be a long night for you buddy.
Will it be a long night for you as well Russell? You came out here and automatically got my respect by targeting the man who doesn’t show enough heart but then you turn around and say some questionable things about me. We’ll settle that in the ring after Ja is gone. We both have something that the other wants and having both men walk away with something in their hands seems to be out of the question. That leaves us with quite the war on our hands.
Yes, I said war.
I don’t walk into matches with stipulations like this one with the mindset that it will be all sunshine and lollipops. I know this is going to be brutal and I have absolutely no problem with that. Not only will I love putting on the show but these fans will love watching the show. And what a show it will be...
Are you ready for this Russell?
I am. .end
