Welcome everyone to a special Animosity. Tonight we will showcase a few of the greatest matches in TGW’s history as an announcement regarding the future of True Glory.
August 24th, 2009 : TGW’s First Main Event
Xaria Linette Vs. Ja-Gi Kyung Moon
The lights went out as the fans begin to buzz. Then vocals, the guitar and drums kick in, rainbow-colored lights bounced to the rhythm in spontaneous locations all over the arena. “Even If” by ZOEgirl began to play as the fans erupted! Seconds before the first verse lyrics, rainbow-colored pyro shot off from the entrance stage and a white spotlight shined there afterwards, revealing Xaria Linette standing in a cute pose, the fans exploding with cheers. This is when the lights came back on, but the rainbow lights kept going. She reached up with her right hand, tilting her rainbow hat up and used it to wave at the fans. Putting it back on, she walked down the ramp and tagged the fans’ hands, circling around the ring and pausing to give people seconds to take pictures. After going around the ring once, she looked at the nearest camera, blew a little kiss and turned to jump onto the apron. She grabbed ahold of the top rope, springboarding over it and landing on her feet in the middle of the ring, doing a little dance before steadying herself to bounce from foot to foot. She took a brief moment to remove her jacket, rainbow hat, rainbow earrings and rainbow necklace, setting them aside before the match began.
"Killing Time" by Hed PE began to play as the fans gave a mixed reaction for Ja-Gi Kyung Moon. He kept things simple and just took a second to look out into the crowd before making his way to the ring. He climbed the ring steps and readied himself. The referee rang the bell and the match was underway!
JAGI had gone on the offensive first trying to wrestle Xaria to the mat with a few technical holds, but Xaria reversed her way out of them and connected with a standing dropkick. JAGI rolled to his feet and shook it off, not striking Xaria back. The two locked up and wrestled for a takedown, which JAGI then flowed behind her and locked in an abdominal stretch. Xaria seemed locked in the move and couldn't find a way out, finally stomping on the foot of JAGI. She came off the ropes, landing a neck breaker! Xaria jumped to her feet and landed a standing leg drop, the followed up with an elbow drop, then connecting with a senton splash! The fans loved it as their cheered the Rainbow Angel on!
JAGI grabbed the arm of Xaria as she began to pull him up and rolled her up with a small package!
1...2.kick out!
Xaria came back at him, only to get rolled up with a school boy!
1..kick out!
JAGI tripped Xaria and applied a Boston crab in the middle of the ring. Xaria tried to battle out, pushing herself up with her hands and crawling to the ropes, breaking the hold. JAGI tried to pull her back to the middle but Xaria would not let go of the ropes. The referee called for a break but JAGI continued to try and pull Xaria. The referee counted the DQ count.
1...2...3...and JAGI broke the hold and waited to Xaria to get up. JAGI was greeted with a kick to the gut as he walked up to her, but he sidesteped a standing dropkick from Xaria, allowing her to fall to the mat back-first. JAGI covered Xaria with the lateral press!
1...kick out!
JAGI hooked the far leg and attempted another pinfall with more weight on the midsection, yet Xaria threw her shoulder up again at the one count. JAGI, however, floated over with the shoulder and traped it, pulling Xaria into a Crucifix pin!
1...2...kick out!
After this, before she could right herself, JAGI keeped an arm held and does a La Magistral cover
1...2...kick out!
When this didn't work Xaria managed to get up to a sitting position before JAGI traped her arms from behind and rolled to the side with a Double Underhook pinning hold.
1...2.kick out!
Xaria rolled away before JAGI could get his hands back on her as the fans were on their feet, cheering at the amazing match. Xaria baited JAGI into coming toward her in the corner. Xaria tripped up JAGI with a drop toe hold, sending him face-first into the middle turnbuckle. Though dazed, JAGI stood up and leaned his back against the turnbuckles. Xaria charged in with her Tiger Wall Flip, landing on her feet with some distance now between she and JAGI. The Korean wrestler fell out of the corner, aiming for a Double Leg Takedown, but Xaria jumped over that with a Mushroom Stomp to his back. JAGI turned 90 degrees before getting hit with an Enzuigiri that put him on his hands and knees. Finally, Xaria runs to the corner and hopped to the second rope, where she dove off with a 450 Splash to landed on JAGI's back and crashing him into the mat, followed with a cover!
1...2..kick out!
Xaria tried a figure four leg lock but JAGI tripped her up and locked in a single leg crab. Xaria quickly pulled herself to the ropes. As she rolled over and pulled herself up, JAGI locked in the Hopeless Romantic (Guillotine Choke)! He tried to pulled her down to the mat to gain more leverage but Xaria would not fall. Xaria lands one, two, three, four hard blows to the head and follows it with a jawbreaker! She stands and hits the Objection (Spiked hurricarana)! JAGI rolls and staggers to his feet and tries for another small package, but Xaria used momentum and rolled out of the move. They both climbed to their feet, the fans were chanting for both competitors, Xaria hits a drop toe as JAGI was near, sending him into the corner. Xaria hits a running splash to take the wind out of JAGI. She turns him around and sets up the Blinding Colors (Super Shiranu) and connects!
1...2...3!
Winner: Xaria Linette
October 12, 2009 : TGW Title Match
Cody Only Vs. AJ Adams
The match starts with a collar/elbow tieup, which Adams gets the better of, moving into a standing armbar. Cody broke out fairly quickly, but walks into a couple of hip-tosses. But when Adams sends him to the ropes, however, Only is able to take the offense away with a quick shoulder to the gut. Only then takes control of the match with a series of power moves, scooping up Adams for a bodyslam, then pressing him overhead and slamming him back down again. Several stiff forearm shots and a short-arm clothesline followed, and then a forward fallaway slam. He finishes up by pulling Adams to his knees and hitting his trademark spinning elbow combination.
Only pauses and tries to get the crowd behind him after whipping Adams into the ropes - and Adams hits the Eat It fameasser on the rebound, then climbs up top as Only stood up, and catches him with a flying bodypress to pull a 1-count. Only rolls him up immediately afterwards and gets a one count, and then Adams bridges over for a two count!
There's a big pop from the crowd at this display, and Adams then rolls out of the ring, only to have Only catch him with a baseball slide! After that, Cody's offense sputters a bit, as he begins a series of chops that Adams matches him blow-for-blow on, eventually getting the better of the Michigan native and scooping him up for a backbreaker on the outside.
Adams rolls Only in, sensitive to beating the count. AJ gets an armtwist in, then nails a forearm smash to the back that drops Only to the canvas. Adams tries for a stepover toehold, but Only pivots on his hands and kicks him away into the ropes. Adams comes off the ropes and leaps over Only, but on the backtrack Only nails him square in the jaw with a HUGE dropkick. Adams scrambles to his feet either from adrenaline or having been knocked loopy, and Cody hits another dropkick. Only moves in with a savate kick, Adams catches the leg, and Only scores an enziguri that drops Adams hard to the canvas. Only then locks in a reverse achilles tendon hold, but AJ manages to find his way to the ropes.
Only yanks him back off the ropes, then drives his knee into the canvas. Adams squeezes his eyes shut, maybe trying to block out the pain, but it doesn't help much as Cody drives the knee in again. Only drops two knees onto the knee this time, then drags him to the middle of the ring and wraps a figure four onto AJ! The ref asks the technician if he wants to quit and AJ shakes his head no, and for a match with these stakes you can't imagine much else. After a few seconds of this, Adams manages to reverse the figure four, then grabs onto the ropes for leverage while the ref asks Only if he wants to give! Finally, the ref turns and sees Adams grabbing the ropes and forces the break.
AJ shrugs his shoulders at Cody with a wide smile and gives a clean break.
Cody slowly stands up -and then gives AJ a hard kick to the face. He then shrugs at his fellow #1 contender the same way, to big applause from the crowd. AJ rises, and Cody then hits a spinning heel kick that sends him to the corner. Big series of chops by Cody, then a whip to the opposite turnbuckle. Cody then charges in with a flying headscissors that dumps Adams over the top rope. Both men are really going out of their comfort zones tonight, but the high risk and high reward might make sense when it's a reward like this one. Cody climbs to the top rope and comes off the top with a thrusting yakuza kick - but AJ grabs it in midair and hits a modified capture suplex right into the referee!
Both Cody and the ref are down - AJ looks around for a few seconds, and then goes to the outside and picks up a steel chair to intense booing from the crowd, who've been whitehot for the match so far. Adams looks at the chair for a long time, then looks at Only... then back at the chair... and finally dumps the chair back onto the ground to the approval of the fans in the Google Arena. Adams slaps the ref on the cheek a few times, and as he slowly rouses himself, Adams circles the still downed Cody only - once the ref is recovered enough to nod his head, AJ moves in -
Right into a possum pin!
It only gets a two count - Adams smirks at the effort, then picks Cody up, fires a couple of right hands before hitting the Trifecta suplex. Cover for a 2 count. Adams then goes for a vertical suplex, but Only shows a little more life and reverses it and going for a clothesline - AJ ducks under that and hits a big German suplex. He runs to the turnbuckle and stretches his arms out to the crowd - getting maybe his biggest pop of the night before connecting with the Truly Awesome shooting star press. Covers!

Two count! AJ doesn't quite look frustrated. He picks Cody's leg up and goes for an ankle lock - but Cody rolls out of the move and bounces him into the ropes - going for a shining wizard on the rebound - that hits nothing but air as AJ grabs the ropes! With Only down, AJ takes that small opening and hits his Last Call codebreaker - the crowd explodes again and counts to three along with the referee - finally, there's a NEW TGW Champion!
The fans lose it as Adams jumps to his feet as he is handed the TGW Title. Looking down at it, smiling, before holding it high and acknowledging the fans and their support. Only begins to stir and Adams helps him to his feet. Cody raises the hand of Adams and gets a big pop from the fans. A “that was awesome” chant is going on across the arena as the two men hug, then shake hands. Only raises Adams' arm one more time in victory before the music cuts off and a voice is heard.
As "The City is at War" plays, with AJ Adams celebrating his big title win..

TGW Volitionary/TGW Title Matches
Fall 1: TGW Volitionary [Steel Legal Match]
Fall 2: TGW Title Match
Fall 1: TGW Volitionary [Steel Legal Match]
Fall 2: TGW Title Match
Evans: The main event, it's down to just the main event. Here's how it's going go down tonight. Adams, Franchise, and Blazenwing will battle for the TGW Volitionary Title in a “Steel Legal” match, where weapons made of steel can be used. After that fall, there will be a 30 second reset where the men will be able to collect themselves as much as they can before we restart. The second fall will be for the TGW Title and will be contested under normal rules. Who will walk out the champions? Will someone capture both titles? Let's find out!
“The City is at War” by Cobra Starship begins to play as the TGW Champion, AJ Adams, begins to make his way out from behind the curtain. Around his waist is the TGW Title and the fans are on their feet. He makes his way down the ramp and even stops on the ramp and signs a kids poster. Adams then charges the ring and slides under the bottom ropes. He looks around and hands his belt to the referee as he approaches. Adams stretches on the ropes and waits for the match to start.
“Anti-Matter” by NERD begins to play and out walks the TGW Volitionary Champ, Russell Franchise. He pumps his arms to get the crowd going and they are behind him, almost as much as they are behind AJ Adams. Franchise makes his way down the ramp and jumps onto the apron and locks eyes with Adams, waiting.
As “Indestructible” by Disturbed begins to play the fans begin to boo and David Blazenwing makes his way out, with a steel chair in hand. Franchise steps into the ring as Blazenwing makes his way down the ramp, placing the chair in the corner and he climbs into the ring.
Franchise hands his title to the referee as all 3 men are now in the ring. The ref holds up the titles and hands them off and asks all three men to the middle of the ring to explain the rules.
Parker: The fans here in Detroit are ready to get this match started and they are excited to see what is going to happen. DBlaze has been lethal with a chair before so look out if he decides to use it.
As the bell sounds all 3 men take a step backward and circle each other. Adams tells one of them to step up and Blazenwing and Franchise both go to lock up with the TGW Champ. Adams gets pushed back as Franchise and Blazenwing get in each others faces, arguing who will go head to head with Adams.
Evans: Both Franchise and Blazenwing want to make a statement and go against Adams here.
Franchise and Blazenwing then lock up and start to exchange blows to the delight of the fans. Blazenwing lands a few lefts and rights before sending Franchise across the ring and off the ropes. Franchise looks for a clothesline but the veteran ducks in, but walks right into a left jab from Adams. DBlaze and Adams begin to have a battle of chops across each others chest as the smacks echo around the arena. Franchise steps up and is hit with a hard forearm smash by Adams, before turning back and hitting a short-arm clothesline on Blazenwing.
Parker: Adams is trying to gain a lot of momentum early.
Adams continues to work on a grounded Blazenwing with a few stomps to the thigh as Franchise gets to his feet, placing his hand on the shoulder of Adams, and spins him around. The fans pop as the two champions of TGW begin to lock up. Both men try to overpower each other but Franchise is able to land a hard shin kick on Adams. Adams jumps in pain and Franchise follows it up with a Russian Leg Sweep. Blazenwing is to his feet and lands a kick to the gut of Franchise and hits a neckbreaker. The 6 time World Champ then locks in a single-leg crab on Franchise in the middle of the ring. Franchise starts to pull himself to the ropes as Adams is getting to his feet. Adams walks over to the 2 men and locks in a seated camel clutch to Franchise! Franchise is getting folded up by both Blazenwing and Adams.
Parker: Russell is in a lot of pain right now.
Evans: He is, but the fall can't end this way. The two submissions cancel each other out.
Adams lets go of the hold and sends himself off the ropes facing Blazenwing, spearing him full speed! Adams covers Franchise!
1...2.kick out!
Adams is to his feet as Blazenwing is slow to his, the two meeting in the middle of the ring. Blazenwing lands a few rights before hitting a suplex on the champ. Franchise is back to his feet and charges Blazenwing, hitting him with a big belly to belly suplex. Adams is rising up as the two champions lock up for the second time. Adams ducks as Franchise looks for a hard clothesline, locking in a sleeper hold on the Volitionary Champ. Franchise flails about before Adams lifts him and drops him with a sleeper slam. Blazenwing is back up and looks for a running forearm smash on Adams, who ducks, and locks in a Nap Time (Tazmission)!
Evans: This is called Nap Time! Adams has been waiting to bust this one out for a while, and it may be over.
The hold is taking a lot of out Blazenwing who falls to a knee. Adams pulls him back up and falls backward to get more out of the hold. The referee comes over to check on Blazenwing but Franchise breaks up the hold to a mix of cheers and boos. Franchise keeps on stomping on both men and starts to land a few mounted punches on Adams. Blazenwing is in the corner and is grabbing the chair he brought down.
Parker: Dave has that chair, look out.
Franchise sees this and Blazenwing charges, swinging. Franchise ducks and kicks DBlaze in the gut, stealing the chair. Franchise lifts the chair back to get momentum but Adams steals it from him. He then drops the chair behind him as Franchise turns and walks right into a capture suplex, onto the chair! Blazenwing pulls Adams to his feet and sends him up and over the top rope. Blazenwing looks to end the match and waits for Franchise to rise, looking for the Full Effect. Adams is on the outside and pulls out a ladder to the delight of the fans.
Evans: What is Adams thinking here?
Adams slides the ladder into the ring without Blazenwing seeing. Adams pulls out a mini step ladder and slides into the ring.
Parker: Something tells me that Adams made sure that little 4 foot step ladder was placed there for a reason.
Blazenwing turns around as Adams starts to get into the ring and the two start to go punch for punch with each other. Adams gains the upper hand and connects with a German suplex. Adams then pulls Franchise to his feet and hits a snap suplex. The Champ then sets up the step ladder and then positions the regular up on it, making sort of a ramp. He turns and runs up the ladder and looks to land on Blazenwing. Blazenwing had been in wait with the chair and levels Adams mid-air! The wound from 2 weeks ago is busted out again and Adams is bleeding heavily.
Evans: That did not pay off and Adams paid the price!
Franchise kicks the ladders out of the ring to make room and as he turns around, he is met by Blazenwing and they lock up. Blazenwing tries to lift Franchise for the B-Wing, but Franchise battles out and hits the Franchise Tag! He covers!
1...2...3!
Winner: AND STILL TGW VOLITIONARY CHAMPION, Russell Franchise!
The fans cheer for Franchise as he jumps to his feet in excitement. He goes for another cover but is reminded by the referee that there is a 30 second run off and he has to wait. Adams starts to pull himself to his feet but is having a hard time. Franchise approaches him and they lock up. Franchise goes lift Adams up for a powerbomb but Adams is able to roll through and roll up Franchise with a sunset flip! The fans count the 1,2,3 but the 30 seconds hasn't expired yet. Adams is growing frustrated as finally the referee starts the pinfall count!
1...2..kickout! The fans and Adams can't believe it.
Parker: The fans had counted to about 12 before the referee was able to start the pin.
Adams is to his feet and is calling for the Last Call as Blazenwing starts to get to his feet. Franchise comes up from behind though and hits a back body drop. Franchise sets up in the 3 point stance and looks to hit the Game Changer on Blazenwing. Franchise charges and Blazenwing pulls the ref by the shirt to help himself up, making Franchise run into the referee!
Parker: The referee is out!
Blazenwing and Franchise lock up as the fans boo the ref being out. Franchise looks for a suplex but Blazenwing blocks it and sends Russell into the corner. Adams is up and knocks DBlaze down from behind. Franchise steps forward and is hit with a kick to the gut. Adams steps back and looks for a Eat It Famasser, but is hit once again with the chair to the skull by Blazenwing. Adams falls to the mat in a heap of dead weight, out cold.
Evans: Uncalled for!
Blazenwing sees his chance as the referee starts to stir, Franchise is getting up slowly. Blazenwing points to the sky and steps up, FULL EFFECT! Blazenwing steps backward as Franchise falls backward. DBlaze covers!
1...2...3!
WINNER: AND NEW TGW CHAMPION, David Blazenwing!
No Limits 2010 : August 24th, 2010
TGW Championship Match : Hell in a Cell
Natalie Burrows Vs. Aaron Rupp
Natalie Burrows Vs. Aaron Rupp
It's time for the main event and once again Kirsten Shelley is standing inside of the cell. The crowd is on their feet as the referee makes his way out to the ring with the TGW Title.
Kirsten Shelley: "The following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and will be a Hell in a Cell match up. The winner will become the NEW TGW Champion. Introducing first, from Durham, North Carolina... Natalie Burrows!"
'Fighter' hits the speakers as the lights dim, orange and yellow spotlights illuminating the arena as coral-colored sparks fall from the ceiling to form a curtain. It is through this rain of pyro that Natalie steps through to make her entrance, walking up to the front of the stage and raising her arms while the crowd cheers. As her arms drop back down to her sides, the sparks slowly taper off, the lights seemingly intensifying in color as a result. Walking down the ramp with a confident smile on her face, Natalie slaps the hands of the fans as she goes. At the bottom of the ramp she stops and lets out a sigh as she tries to shake off an sign of nervousness. She enters the cell and climbs into the ring and awaits her opponent.
Kirsten Shelley: "Her opponent, from Huron, Ohio... Aaron Rupp!"
"Awake and Alive" by Skillet begins to play as the lights dim, a lone spotlight shining down onto the middle of the stage as various other spotlights pan through the crowd, as though they're looking for someone. The Tron is showing various clips from all of Rupp's matches throughout his career. As the lyrics begin, a figure slowly emerges from backstage and steps into the spotlight, his head hidden by the hood of an open sleeveless black leather trenchcoat that reaches down to the figure's ankles. All the other spotlights converge on the figure as he uses his right hand to push the hood off his head and, in one fluid motion, throw his arms out to the sides in a wingspan pose as all the lights come back on and green pyro explodes behind him, just in time for the song to go into the chorus. Once the pyro ceases, Aaron Rupp heads down to the ring with a focused and determined look on his face. He sees the cell and his opponent as he walks with purpose. He wastes no time entering the cell and climbing into the ring.
The fans are on their feet and already a war of chants is going on. "Let's Go Burr-ows" and "Rupp Dat!" go back and forth throughout the arena. Rupp and Burrows walk toward each other as the bell sounds and our match is underway. Rupp extends his hand and Burrows gladly returns the sign of respect. The two competitors shake and lock up. Rupp twists his opponent into a headlock but is quickly pushed off the ropes. He bounces off and jumps over Burrows who falls to the mat. He runs harder and hits the ropes and turns, right into a back elbow. Burrows looks for a jumping elbow but Rupp rolls away and to his feet, locking right back up.
Rupp hooks the tights of Burrows and looks for a suplex but Natalie wraps her leg around Rupp. She lands a shot to the gut and follows it with a kick to the shins. Burrows flips Rupp over with a scoop slam before hits a middle rope springboard and a leg drop across the chest. She kips up and the fans are growing louder. Rupp is to his feet and ducks an incoming clothesline, pulling her into an inverted headlock. He lifts Burrows up and connects with a backbreaker. Now Rupp has jumped to his feet and pounds his chest. He pulls Burrows to her feet and looks for a German suplex but Natalie shows her athleticism and flips backward onto her feet. Rupp turns and is hit with the Turmoil (Windmill kick). He rolls to his feet and Burrows is right there with the Denial (Leaping leg lariat) to take him down.
The fans are loving it as Rupp spins to his knees and Burrows locks up, pulling him the rest of the way up. Rupp hits a lifting knee to the sternum and quickly follows it up a sidewalk slam. Rupp is on his feet and Burrows pulls herself up but walks right into the Rejection (Jumping Calf Kick). Rupp thinks about attempting a cover but pulls Burrows up and looks for the Rupp Rocker (Ace Crusher) but she pushes him away. Rupp spins around and is leveled with an enzuiguri. Both competitors are slow to get to their feet as the match wears on. Burrows sees Rupp getting to his feet and she charges with a cross body, sending both of them up and over the top rope.
Burrows uses the cell to pull herself up and turns into a charging Rupp. She jumps up and grabs the cell as she hits him with a kick to the face. She lunges and flips him behind her with a hurricanrana. The fans shocked at Natalie pulling out anything and everything she can think of. Both are to their feet but Rupp runs up the side of the cell and launches himself off it and spins, dropping Burrows with an enzuiguri of his own. Burrows falls backwards as Rupp starts to lean on the ring. Burrows stirs and Rupp pulls her up and slides her into the ring. Rupp keeps it simple and pulls Burrows up and right back down with a suplex.
Rupp climbs to the top rope and looks for a diving elbow drop, but Burrows rolls out of the way! She's slow up but beats Rupp hits a kick to the midsection. Burrows is just running on instinct, hits a lifting knee. She turns and braces herself and connects with a pelé kick! I think she's learned a few tricks from her recent company. Burrows is getting in a groove and slowly climbs to the top rope, looking to keep it simple with some sort of splash. She comes flying with a frog splash but now Rupp has moved! Burrows crashes to the mat and is pulled to her feet.
Rupp sets her up for the Ruppture (Rupp lifts his opponent up for a powerbomb, but throws their legs out. This causes them to come crashing chest-first into Rupp's knees.) and connects! He covers...

2...
Kickout! No one can believe it and Rupp is one of them. He looks up and just shakes his head and climbs to his feet. He starts to pull Natalie back up and she uses all of her power to lift Rupp up and hits the Hitting Bottom (Rydeen Bomb). Both competitors are motionless for a moment. Burrows stirs and draps her arms across Rupp for a cover attempt.

2...
..Kickout! The fans are loving the match and quickly a "This is awesome!" chant breaks out in the arena. Both competitors showing that they want this TGW Title and are deserving. Natalie struggles to get to her feet before Rupp. Rupp charges with a clothesline but gets a kick in the gut for his attempt and here comes Burrows. She's off the ropes and looks for the Closure (Scissors Kick), but Rupp moves! He springs up and hits the Rupp Dat! Burrows collapses to the mat and Rupp rolls her up.

2...
3!
The fans erupt and Burrows throws her arm up but it's moments too late. Rupp rolls over and is in disbelief. At first he thinks that she beat the count but the referee raises his arm and hands him the title as confetti starts to fall from the rafters and the fans give both members of this match a standing ovation.

We’re back to the live action and we’re set for our announcement. “U + UR Hand” by Pink starts to play as we get our usual round of boos from the fans as TGW Majority Owner Alli Taylor makes her way to the stage. She has in hand a microphone as the boos start to die down, allowing her to talk.
