Hello lades and gentlemen. For those that don't know, my name is Stan Brooks and this is Animosity. After the actions of last week's main event, TGW World Champion AJ Donavon, is not in the building. Wade Mason gave him a one week suspension after setting up Ja-Gi Kyung Moon to lose their tag match by paying someone to come down. I'm sitting here next to Todd Evans and Scott Parker and I hear that Mason has an announcement regarding AJ Donavon and the next Pay-Per-View, Unholy Mess.
The crowd is buzzing and waiting for the first match of the night, however, we are treated to a look backstage. Walking into an opened truck entrance is AJ Adams with his bag over his shoulder. The crowd was evenly split as he stormed in with a serious look on his face. Kirsten Shelley was near by talking to a few other people and Adams seemed to beeline straight for her. He told her to pass the word around that he is looking for Wade Mason.
Russell Franchise begis to make his way down to the ring with the Volitionary Title around his waist and the fans just love him. I can see a lady holding a sign saying she wants to go out a date with him. He jumps into the ring and starts to pump up the crowd as he waits for Belle Landru. The “bitch Barbie from the bayou” made her way to the ring to a chorus of boos as the fans are clearly rooting for Franchise.
The two competitors squared off in the middle of the ring, with Franchise gaining the upper hand with his strength. He sends Landru off the ropes and meets her with a belly to belly suplex. Franchise seems to be full of fire as he jumps around and is quick to continue the assault. He pulls Landru to her feet and brings her to a knee after a hard kick to the shin. Landru stands and lands a kick of her own, followed by a hard shortarm clothesline. Franchise stumbles backwards and is hit with a running dropkick, sending him into the turnbuckle. Landru charges but is met with a boot to the face from Franchise. She falls back hard hitting the mat with full force as the crowd lets out an “ooh” as there was a crack when her face hit his boot. Franchise pulls Landru up again and sets her up for a powerbomb. As she's up in the air, she tries to flip Franchise over for a roll up but he spins around and hits a spinning powerbomb.
The fans can feel that the match is near over as Landru got over powered from the opening bell and can't seem to catch up. Franchise jumps to his feet, that fire burning and screams out for the fans. He yells he feels like dancing and starts to do the “A Game Stomp”. After 5 or so stomps he hits the ropes and looks for the Remix elbow! Landru moves out of the way at the last second! She's to her feet and hits a kick to Franchise's gut, looks for a snap DDT as she swings her leg for momentum. Franchise locks his leg and doesn't allow her to pull him. She lets go and looks for a spinning back elbow but he ducks it. As she spins around he lifts her up and hits the Franchise Tag into the cover! 1...2...3!
Winner: Russell Franchise
Franchise is to his feet and is handed his belt and asks for a microphone. He let's David Blazenwing that if he wants to go then they can “Do the damn thing” anytime, any place, and he'll be bringing his “A” game.
Backstage, AJ Adams is still in his street clothes and keeps asking people if they've seen Wade Mason. So far everyone has said no to him, leaving him more and more ticked off. As he rounds a corner a suited up Mason is seen heading right for Adams. The two meet in the halls and Mason offers a handshake. Adams seems to ignore it or just doesn't want to shake his hand. He tells Mason that he knows that Only has a rematch coming soon, he's heard the talk around the water cooler and expects to be apart of that title match, whenever it may be. Adams promises that life for Mason won't be good unless he agrees. Mason plays coy for a brief second and tells him that he should go get ready for his match and make sure he has an ear on what's going on. Mason offers the handshake again and Adams hesitates and finally takes it.
The crowd gives heat towards Shogun after his attack of JAGI last week. JAGI clearly was over powered last week as Shogun stands at right about 6 foot 10 and has to be close to 400 pounds. Shogun climbs over the top rope as David Cage starts to make his way down, slowly. Cage appears to have a slight limp as he favors his left knee a little bit. Shogun smiles in the ring as Cage slides under the bottom ropes and to his feet. Cage looks up to the face of Shogun as the match bell sounds and we are underway.
Cage backs up a little bit as Shogun looks out into the crowd. Cage steps forward and swings, landing a hard right onto Shogun. The big man no sells and just laughs it off. Cage lands another shot that still doesn't seem to do much of anything. He follows it up with a hard kick to the gut that gets Shogun to double over a little bit. Cage looks for a DDT but is hit with a hard shot to the kidneys. Shogun lands a hard kick to the left knee that sends Cage hobbling in pain. He chases after and hits Cage with a running knee lift. Cage falls to the mat as Shogun continues to attack, this time he jumps up and stomps on the left knee of his opponent. Cage is clearly in pain as Shogun lands another kick to his knee.
Shogun lifts Cage up to his feet and this just smells bad. The fans are quiet as Shogun is just beating Cage now. He lands a hard chop to the bare chest of Cage the echoes throughout the arena. Cage tries to gain momentum and heads for the ropes and runs right into a big boot. Shogun lifts Cage up from the back of his neck, to his feet, then to the air and sends him face first into the mat with a chokeslam. The Shoguns Sentance. He nudges Cage over with his foot and places his boot on his chest. 1...2...3!
Winner: Shogun Tsuruga
The fans are stunned by the dominance of the new comer as he heads toward the back. A few trainers come down to help Cage to the back but he isn't happy with that. He lands a headbutt to one of the trainers and swings at another. They back up and let him go up at his own pace. We are treated to a video clip of the attack on JAGI last week as we get ready for his match against Cody Only. Before it can happen though, Wade Mason makes his way out to the stage.
Mason announces that next week will be one of the biggest Animosity's ever because of the line up he has set for us. He tells us that the show will be headlined by both titles being up for grabs as the fans cheer. He tells us a about the outburst Franchise had for David Blazenwing is was great because he feels it's time they got that chance to face off for real, but that it will have to wait. Russell Franchise will be facing Steve Canyon next week. He also adds that a stipulation will be added for the match soon after he gets in contact with Franchise. Then, he talks about how AJ Donavon was off this week due to his actions against Ja-Gi last week.
He had promised Cody Only and the rest of the fans that Donavon would be a fighting champion and that he had no bias towards him. He then informed us that the main event next week would be AJ Donavon defending his title against Cody Only! The fans went nuts and cut off Mason. Saying he wasn't done the fans quiet down as he adds, “and AJ Adams” and the place goes nuts once again.
Mason drops the bombshell and leaves as we get set for the next match.
As JAGI heads to the ring it's obvious that something is wrong. He is in street clothes and isn't giving off his usual quirk. He walks around the ring to over by where we are, grabs a microphone and slides into the ring. JAGI tells everyone that he will not be competing tonight, or at all in the foreseeable future. He says that things outside of wrestling have called for him and he can not ignore them. JAGI says he doesn't care if Mason wasn't to go for breach of contract or if the fans hate on him for leaving but he is doing what he knows is right. He drops the microphone and leaves the crowd stunned.
Winner: No Contest
I know I'm shocked and so is everyone else in the building. I'm sure there will be rumors as to why JAGI just left but we may never know what happened. Speaking of rumors, word is that Lily Haris is not medically cleared for the match do to flu and other symptoms but is here in the arena. There are two stories going around. One is that she is choosing to compete tonight and other is that she is being forced.
AJ Adams is out first and definitely seems ready to go as he even slaps a hand with one of the fans at ringside. He walks all the way around the ring and waits and the bottom of the ramp as Lily Haris starts to make her way. And let me tell you she looks like she's been hopped up on Nyquil. Adams is shaking his head as she is slugging her way down the ramp. He takes her under her arm and helps her walk around the ring and over here to the announce table and the ring announcer area. The bell keep just gave her his seat and Adams just slid into the ring. Canyon made his way mid-way down before Blazenwing started to come out. Canyon charged the ring with a head of steam and didn't wait for his partner.
Adams and Canyon exchange blows early, back and forth, and Canyon swings for a big clothesline. Adams ducks it and lands a hard jab. He quickly looks for a spinning elbow but Canyon side steps out of the way, then looks for a standing dropkick. Adams pushes his feet away and as Canyon gets up, Adams hits him with a step up enziguri. The fans cheer as Adams backs off to catch his breath and Canyon rolls to his corner, tagging in Blazenwing.
Blazenwing steps into the ring and the two lock up and the veteran, Blazenwing, locks in a hammerlock on Adams. Adams reaches back looking for a snap mare but Blazenwing hits an atomic drop. Adams rolls to his feet and the two share a few lefts and rights before Adams is able to duck one of Blazenwing's lefts and lock in a sleeper hold. Blazenwing fights to break free and is hit with a sleeperslam. Adams sits on a knee, looking at Canyon, egging Blazenwing to make the tag and he does. Canyon comes in hot and knocks Adams down with a few hard shots and finally a jumping knee to the face. Adams is on a knee and Canyon locks in a sleeper of his own that seems to slow Adams down. Adams gets his arm lifted, once! Again! If it comes down again it's over. Adams doesn't let it drop and starts to turn himself a little, tries to lift Canyon but can't get enough leverage. Instead he rolls him up small package style! 1...2.Blazenwing with the save.
The assault begins as both Blazenwing and Canyon start to work on Adams as the referee has lost control of the match. Blazenwing sends Adams into the turnbuckle and Canyon charges and hits a corner splash! Adams stumbles forward and Blazenwing looks for the Full Effect, but Adams ducks! He lands a kick on Blazenwing and hits the Eat It (Fameasser) and jumps to his feet. The numbers game comes back into play and Adams is leveled with a running lariat by Canyon. Canyon pulls Adams back up and hits a powerbomb. Adams rolls to a corner and in all the chaos, I didn't even see Haris pull herself to the apron. She tags herself in and climbs in the ring. She lands a jab on Canyon who returns it with a hard kick to the gut. Haris falls to a knee, barely able to stand. Blazenwing comes out of nowhere and hits a Full Effect (Superkick) and Canyon makes the cover.
Winners: David Blazenwing & Steve Canyon
The attack continues as Blazenwing locks in the Shock Lock (Crossface) on Haris and Canyon looks on. Adams is back to his feet and breaks the hold and attacks Canyon. Haris is pulled out of the ring by one of the agents who had ran down and started to help her to the back. Canyon and Adams are exchanging blows until Canyon is hit with a stiff kick to the mid section. He starts to look for the Last Call (Codebreaker) but gets hit with the Full Effect from Blazenwing! Canyon locks in the Tolling Of The Bell (Hanging Figure-4) on Adams.
“Know Your Enemy” by Green Day is playing as someone steps onto the stage for a brief moment before running to the ring! The man slides in and meets Blazenwing with hard lefts and rights. Blazenwing swings and misses, the man hits a lungblower on Blazenwing, sending him rolling out of the ring. Canyon breaks the hold as Blazenwing rolls out of the ring and is hit with a dropkick to the knee. Canyon is then hit with a modified double underhook facebuster! The man reaches down for Adams and helps him to his feet as the fans cheer. I can hear Adams say thanks and asks for his name. The man tells him, it's Shane Magnus and no thanks are needed. The two men shake hands as the fans cheer. Canyon makes his way up the ramp but stops at the top of the ramp to stare down the newcomer.
