Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for TGW's Animosity! I am Stan Brooks and welcome to the 14th edition, live from San Digo, California. Last week we saw the return of TGW in sorts, we had a few interviews, found out what happened to Onslaught, and we learned that Wade Mason isn't calling the shots anymore. For those that missed it, Mason told the crowd that someone had swooped in and was able to buy the majority of the company. Now, someone else is in charge leaving Mason as a middle man. Unfortunately we do not know who the new owner is as Mason is contracted to not release the name.
French Montana is seen roaming the hallways looking for Wade Mason. While walking past the various workers inside the building he stops one security guard and speaks...
"Where is Mason?"
The guard, sensing French's tone, knows he's up to no good. He hesitates in his answer...
"Ummm... I'm...I..."
French interupts while stepping closer to the guard
"...Think about what you say. You can either be a live coward, or a dead idiot."
The guard is now visibly shaken and reaches for his walkie-talkie.
*Static* "I'm gonna need back up..."
As soon as the words leave the guards mouth, he is viciously grab by French and given the "Fix Ur Face". The security gaurd is out before he hits the floor. His nose is gushing blood as his unconcious body slams against the concrete floor. French spits on the KO'd guard and continues on deeper into the building. He locates a TGW employee and approaches her.
"Where is Mason's office?!"
The woman looks down at French and notices he has fresh blood stains on his shirt. She is frozen in fear and all she can do is point. French follows her finger with his eyes then his body. He continues down a long hallway that has doors that line both sides of the hallway. As he nears the end several guards and TGW employees can be see congregating outside of the last door on the left. French looks up and continues towards them as the men steady themselves in a line. French screams out...
"Where is Wade *bleeping* Mason?!!"
The line of people part as the door is opened and Wade Mason steps out.
"...French, look... I know you are..."
"Shut the *bleep* up you damn COWARD! I told you Wade, don't *bleep* me. Don't *bleep* with me. You gotta see me face to face now. I want my damn title shot and I don't wanna wait another month!"
"French look, I hear ya man, but I'm no longer in control. Micheal Echkhard is the person you need to speak with. I mean, I feel you deserve a shot as well, but I'm no longer the...Puppet master as you put it?"
"Look, I just spent all day in court. Do I really look like I wanna go through any more litigation? Or talk to anyone else? Who the *bleep* do you think you are huh? Better yet, do you know who I AM? I'm one pissed off number one contender..."
Mason tenses his eyes
"French, you can go on and on and there is nothing that is going to make me be able to fix it. You're pissed off? Try having your company stolen right from underneath you. I'll do everything I can to get you the title shot but I can't make any promises. Next week, Echkhard will be making his first TGW appearance so track him down. I'll tell him you're coming. That's the best I can do."
The scene fades to the start of the show...
Q Vs. Jack Goddard
It's time for TGW to step back into the ring and we start with the VERY eccentric and...well, interesting Q taking on the “Wild Card” Jack Goddard. For those new to TGW, Q had a brief feud with Jake Norton and on more than one occasion did not show for his match. Goddard waits in the ring for his opponent, who slowly starts to make his way down the ring. Q obviously doesn't care one way or the other. Could the new owner have threatened Q and his job to make him show?
Q hit the ring and we were set to go! The match bell sounds and TGW is officially back. Q and Goddard set to lock up, but Q steps on the toes of his opponent. The fans don't like it one bit as Q steps back and sets to swing. He starts to land a few punches to the head as Goddard staggers. The Wild Card steps back, Q swinging just out of reach. Goddard leans and delivers a stiff clothesline to Q. Q hits the mat hard and seems to knock the back of his head pretty hard. He tries to stand and is met with a running knee to the head from Goddard. Goddard back ups and smiles, almost pleased with the fact that Q seems to be knocked out.
The referee goes to check on Q but is stopped by Goddard. He lifts his downed opponent slowly to his feet. Q tries to battle back, landing a flurry of punches out of desperation. Goddard finally blocks one, locking up the arms and hits Q with a belly to belly suplex. Q starts to roll to his feet and Goddard measures him up and sneaks in from behind. DEAD MONEY! [Killswitch] Goddard just planted Q head first into the mat. Covers and it's all over. No doubt about it, Q was not ready for Goddard tonight.
Winner: Jack Goddard [Pinfall]
Goddard takes the easy win and has to feel confident as someone who can throw his name in the hat for one of TGW's titles. There are big shoes to fill as Teresa Quaranta and Russell Franchise were dominant in their time in TGW. Right now it's just a big guess as to what is going on as far as the title situation is concerned.
We shoot backstage to AJ Adams standing in front of the camera. He lets out a big grin and clears his throat.
AJ Adams: No, there is no Kirsten Shelley tonight. There is no big entrance, calling me the former TGW Champion, or anything of the sorts. Instead I've spent my week trying to figure out what the hell is going on around this company. Who is calling the shots? Who is being looked at for what title? Where the hell all these new talents are coming from and are they any good. I won't lie and tell you that this whole owner thing is on tight lock down, I can't get anything.
So what I've decided to do after seeing good ol' Frenchy demand his title shot, I'm going to let him know to get in line. Save the, I had my chance at the top speech because sure. I was there and I will be again. TGW is back and it's time for me to return to the top. See, French and I are both in a invitational tournament over in the CWC. I have this feeling that our owner picked us for more than just the reason of wanting good competition. Whoever can make it farther will be the front runner for the TGW Championship. Get ready Frenchy.
The Bronx Vs. French Montana
Last week we got to see Bronx make an appearance in the ring to cut a promo. To some he came off very cocky but with a spunk that the fans could really get behind. As Bronx made his way to the ring he stopped on the ramp to take a quick look around. Just before finishing his way to the ring he was attacked from behind! I can't tell who it is, they have some sort of mask to cover their face. Bronx is sent into the guardrail and is given a kick to top it off. The masked man flees through the crowd as French Montana makes his way to the ring.
This is unfair!
Montana walks right by Bronx and into the ring. The referee has no choice but to award the match to French Montana.
Winner: French Montana [Bronx unable to compete]
Montana stops at the announce table as he leaves the ring. He yells to the crew to tell AJ Adams that the TGW will be his and if Adams didn't like it, he could meet him in the ring. Montana stops besides Bronx and just sighs and walks to the back.
The camera comes to life with shots of Trent pacing around the locker room blowing his breath in and out hard.
Torrie: "Will you just calm down please?"
Trent: "I'm trying, I'm trying. You don't know what it's like."
Torrie: "Being uptight is just going to make it worse. Come over here and sit by me."
Torrie slides over on the sofa and is quickly joined by Trent. Torrie reaches in her pocket and pulls out a small clear bag of white powder.
Torrie: "See what mama brought."
Trent: "Torrie not now. I'm already hyped enough."
Torrie: "Oh come on. It may make you focus more."
She pours a little of the white powder on the small table in front of them and then straightens the line with an old credit card. Trent rolls his eyes, then rolls a one dollar bill. He bends down to sniff the line then jumps up out of his seat.
Trent: "Okay, there is no way I'm sitting down now!"
Torrie just laughs as the cameras leave the room.
Katie Goddard Vs. Darren Moore
Iceman Darren Moore is standing in the ring awaiting his opponent and the fans cheer as she hits the stage. Katie Goddard smiles and makes her way down the ramp with a chair in hand. As she slides into the ring the referee instantly tries to take the chair away from her. She fights back and gives it a pull, grabbing the bottoms and swings, leveling Moore! The referee tosses the chair out of the ring and starts the match before Goddard can do any more damage.
Goddard hits the ropes as Moore tries to stir and is hit with a dropkick to the face. Goddard rolls back to her feet with a jump and throws up a wave and a smile to the fans. Moore tries to shake off the effects of the headshots as he climbs to a knee. Goddard charges and is met with a lifting spinebuster. Moore jumps back to his feet and backs up, off the ropes and Goddard is ready and connects with a drop toe hold. Goddard tries to keep using her speed as she runs full speed off the ropes as Moore is pulling himself up using the ropes. She dives looking for a crossbody but is caught in the air. Moore looks to be looking for a powerbomb as he lifts her up and sets her up. Goddard is fighting back, barrage of lefts and rights! Goddard swings Moore around and hits a hurricanrana, he rolls right into the corner up against a turnbuckle.
Wait a minute, someone is making their way down to the ring. Is that Alyson Starr? She hits the ring and starts to distract the referee as Goddard sneaks out of the ring, grabbing her chair. She hurries and slides back in as Starr is trying to get past the referee keeping him busy. Goddard waves, runs at Moore, jumps and places the chair under her feet and connects with a dropkick! She pulls Moore out from the corner and climbs to the top. Starr leaves the ring as Goddard jumps, hitting the Heads-Up! [Shooting Starr Press] Covers and it's all over!
Winner: Katie Goddard
Katie brought her best tonight and with a little distraction from Alyson Starr, she was able to just never lose the edge.
Trent Townsend Vs. Magnum
I'm VERY curious as to what may come down this week for Trent Townsend as we all CLEARLY saw him using drugs on camera. Wade Mason was always very strict on the use of drugs in the company, even stripping Russell Franchise of the Volitionary Title. Back near the beginning of TGW's run he fired someone for blatant drug use and helped them find help for their problem. With the new owner, what will happen?
Townsend is in the ring first and stretches out his legs as he'll be looking to use his speed against Magnum. Magnum comes out with his manager at his side, who stops at the top of the ramp and lets him walk himself down. Magnum hits the ring and Townsend steps right up to his opponent. Magnum looks down at Townsend and smiles. The fans roar waiting for the match to start.
There is the bell and we are off!
Both men are waiting for the other to make the first move. Magnum looks out to the crowd and quickly jabs his opponent. He catches his off guard as he stumbles from just the force behind the blow. Magnum swings again but it's ducked. Townsend dropkicks the left knee of Magnum, making him trip forward. Townsend stays down and connects a droptoe hold. He flows over into a knee to the side of his opponent. Trent jumps to his feet as Magnum battles his way up. The two men lock up and try to gain some leverage. Townsend kicks the left knee but Magnum sends his opponent into the ropes. He is awaiting Townsend and lands a sitdown spinebuster.
Magnum seems to be favoring his knee a bit, but shouldn't be anything to concern over. If Townsend keeps that up though that may very well shift the match. Magnum lifts his opponent to his feet and sets him up for a suplex. Townsend tries to battle out and rakes the eyes of Magnum. The referee caught it and threats to throw the match out if he keeps it up. Townsend hits a spinning elbow to Magnum, making him stagger. Townsend hits the ropes behind Magnum and kicks the back of his left knee out! Townsend looks to gain the upper hand and starts to land kicks to the leg and knee of Magnum. He locks in a single leg Boston crab as Magnum reaches for the ropes.
He fights and crawls until he finally gets there. Townsend is force to break the hold but the damage has been done. Magnum pulls himself up and turns around. Townsend goes in for a lock up and is hit with a series of left and right jabs. He uses his right leg to land a kick to the midsection of Townsend, following it up with a fisherman suplex. Magnum is trying to battle back and lifts his opponent right to his feet. He sends him into the nearest turnbuckle and follows. He lifts him to the top rope and looks to do some sort of middle rope belly to belly. Townsend starts to headbutt his opponent and pushes him off the ropes. Magnum's left knee comes straight down on the mat and he rolls to his back in pain. Townsend sees the chance and jumps! He hits a frog splash and hooks the leg.
1...2...3!
Winner: Trent Townsend[Pinfall]
Townsend was just able to use his speed to gain the upper hand and did not stop the attack on that knee. This was a very good match and again, I can see both of these men throwing their name into the mix of one of TGW's titles.
Aquilla is seen backstage in his wrestling attire in the backstage area with a microphone in hand. He has a serious look on his face. Business is his only priority as his match with Natasha Molotov is only minutes away.
Aquilla: People around this promotion have been wondering for a while. Who is Aquilla? Why is he getting all this faith put in him? Without even wrestling a match he is chosen to be one of three TGW Wrestlers in the CWC Invitational Tournament. There could have been others. I’m not here to brag about being chosen for all these different things or being close to the boss or whatever conspiracies have been floating around. I’m here for one thing and one thing only. To prove myself.
I’ve not always followed the straight and narrow path that I should have. I will admit my mistakes. The difference between any other guy that does this is that I’m willing to make up for them. My way of making up for my mistakes? Putting on the best possible show I can in the ring the fans, because they want to get their money’s worth.
Tonight the eagle takes flight against Natasha Molotov. The two rookies. Only one will emerge victorious. I will leave it all in the ring. Everything. I never go less than 100%. It’s just not good enough. Tonight I may be here for the win but more so, I’m here to prove that I deserve the spots I’ve been given and that I deserve to climb the ladder of TGW. Natasha, be ready, the Eagle is coming for you.
That match is up next! First, here is something you may have missed on TGW Online this week.
We're both here in TGW with the desire to win and become the top dogs, however, it won't happen for both of us. Many say that your debut match is the one that makes or breaks you, depending on the fight you put up - win or loss - it's all about the performance. You don't have to win, you just have to show that you want it. There will never be two winners when it comes down to it, but there can be two athletes who both epitomize what it means to be motivated. I can't speak for him, but I plan on being that athlete. It's what I want to do and it's how I want to live my life.
Aquilla, whether you think so or not - you made it. Congratulations. I'm not here to predict matches or say I'm going to win. It isn't about winning... Okay, that's a lie but in the grand scheme of things - this doesn't matter. There are bigger things than our debut match. We need to look at everything on the whole. This isn't about you or me, Garth. This is about everything. Everyone. The fans, the roster, the brass. It is all riding on US. We need to do this not just for us, but for them. Everything is about them. If we look to further ourselves on the whole, we are destined to fail. This isn't to say we can't keep ourselves in mind, like I said, we all have our reasons - but remember. Everyone plays a part. The excitement level has to be there, the anticipation, the mutual bond we all share.
Because frankly - I have no fucking clue where this path is going to take me... But I'm prepared for the top.
Natasha Molotov Vs. Aquilla
Some new blood headlining TGW's first main event back from our break and I just have a feeling that this match is going to lead to great things for both of these stars. Aquilla is representing TGW in the CWC Invitational and I've heard amazing things about Molotov.
Both competitors make their way to the ring with Aquilla coming out second. Aquilla clearly has a big size advantage in the match. The two start to circle each other and the referee starts the match with the sound of the bell.
Molotov gets close to her opponent and Aquilla reaches out his hands for a lock up. The fans are buzzing as they interlock hands. Aquilla easily overpowers her but she falls to her back and hits a monkey flip! Aquilla brushes it off and rolls his shoulders and gets ready for another approach. Molotov rolls as Aquilla looks for a short-armed clothesline, Molotov pops up and hits a standing dropkick to the back of Aquilla. He stumbles forward but catches himself on the ropes. Aquilla turns as Molotov charges and hits her with a big spear! He takes her to the mat and immediately starts to lift her to her feet.
Aquilla locks her up and delivers a stalling suplex that drops her right in the middle of the ring. He floats over into a cover and gets a 2. Molotov pushes Aquilla back with her feet as she gets room so she can get up. She tries to shake it off and ducks a charing Aquilla and lands a reverse DDT. She pulls Aquilla to his feet and he immediately hits her with a hard left, a hard right, a kick to the gut, lifts his knee to meet her head, and then locks up. Aquilla lifts her to his shoulders and hits a Samoan drop. The fans are going back and forth as who to root for.
Aquilla starts to lift Molotov to her feet again, looking as the match might be coming to an end. He sets her up for a suplex, maybe looking for his finisher. Molotov lands a few shots to the side of Aquilla, stalling him. She breaks the hold and lands a few kicks to the side of Aquilla, followed by a few to his knees. She connects with a Russian leg sweep and jumps up right away, connecting with a legdrop. She rolls to her feet and runs off the ropes and hits him with another. Aquilla stirs and tries to get up and is met with a sleeper hold.
Aquilla tries to reach for the ropes but is too far away. He lifts Molotov over his shoulder with a snapmare of sorts. She lands hard and holds her head as she gets up to her feet. Aquilla lands a kick to the gut and calls for the end. He throws up the devil horns and plays the crowd. He turns back around and is met with a superkick! Both competitors fall and the referee starts a double count.
He gets to about 7 and Molotov is up just before Aquilla. He swings to gain some momentum but she ducks it. Molotov hits a left elbow, a knee to the gut, a right elbow, two more knees and Aquilla doubles over. She hits the ropes and hits a flipping neckbreaker! The Plan B! She uses an Oklahoma roll and Aquilla's shoulders are down!
1...2...3!
Winner: Natasha Molotov [Pinfall]
Molotov jumps to her feet and receives the fans cheers and praise. They loved the match and applaud both competitors. Aquilla is to his feet and offers his hand to Molotov. They shake hands and Molotov continues to celebrate as Aquilla leaves the ring.
