The only thing more perfect than a day like today would have to be a day that's not in the 30-40 degree weather range. Darren Moore is bundled up inside his rental car. The BMW he had in Portland had to be returned before he could leave the state and the new car he received didn't have much class but got the job done.. The black interior in his 2005 Buick Regal, a similar model to the one he used a month ago, was cleaned but showed some stains on the floor which means it had been used quite a bit. The red exterior on it was cleaned as well but there were scratches on the hood and along the passenger door. The CD player didn't work and the radio had trouble putting out sound on the passenger side door and rear, while the car heater didn't fare much better having to take 5-6 minutes before the car warmed up.
Darren, in a slick black leather jacket is watching the road in front of him as snow begins to fall to the ground, dancing all the way. With his old, ratty black wool hat and his ripped fingerless gloves, Darren decides to pull into a Mall Parking lot in the southern end of Olympia, Washington. He parks it gently next to a large White Ford F-150, turns off the engine and gets out of the car as a gust of chilling wind blows Darren off his footing and pushes him back a couple of inches. The snow begins to fall faster as the wind becomes more and more aggressive. Darren runs for the mall entrance as he's almost side-swiped by a woman backing out of her spot.
Darren: "Damn people that can't see anything but their own crap. Heh, kind of like Katie and her blindness in my ability."
Darren makes it into the mall, but is frozen from head to toe. He walks over to the first store on the left and heads inside it. Its a small shop with dozens of small knick knacks and items you would use around the house. He heads to the back of the store and is stopped half way as an industrial sized heater is pumping out heat like its being taken from the Deserts in the south. He stands with his frozen face and winter clothes on as the warmth is soothing and settling in, making Darren more comfortable. He let's out a sigh of relief and walks out of the store. He walks from store to store looking for personal items to purchase with his big paycheque from the PPV and his christmas bonus. He walks a bit more and decides that the mall has nothing to offer him. He proceeds outside and runs to his rental car. Upon entering it he pulls out his camera in frsutration. He turns it on.
Darren: "Katie, you're not ready for our match and no amount of training will help your chances. It'll only help you in the respect that you don't get hurt or injured. Our match will be that of a professional one and I will hold nothing back, but if you decide to 'hit below the belt' I will have to take our match to an unpleasant level for you. I've seen your 'training videos' and your 'friends' that you hang around with and it seems your doing more cardio and striking than powerlifting which is important for a guy my size. You may strike well but with your small stature and short arm reach you'll be at a very big disadvantage. The 'impact' type moves such as scoop slams, suplex's and such will be ineffective and will be phsically improbable. Me? Well I've got the strength and the weight to make my game greater than yours. My 6+ inches and a good 100 pounds extra are reason for people in Vegas to bet against you, heavily."
Darren starts up the car as the heater in the car spews out a cloud of dust and cold air as Darren coughs and points the camera at himself again.
"Just like this car, your out-matched, out-sized and out-of-luck. You belong in some womens division and leaving it is pointless unless your fighting an Andy Kaufman type male and even then, its no cake walk. One... your an untested veteran here in TGW and though you praise your past, I say this; If you lose to me, that past will mean nothing, bub-kiss, squat. Seeing as how this is my very first and only federation and seeing as how ive learned so quickly, shows that if you cant get it done here with the big dogs, you may have to take a couple of weeks and try those 'beer leagues' you came out of. I came to the top business and I intend on staying here for a very long time, moving up the ladder to Main Event status such as French Montana and well, whoever else is up there. Those men are the peak of the mountain of fame, fortune and greatness. When you can get to their heights and do what they do, then you know you've got it made here in TGW. Unfortunatly for you Katie, you have no hope of beating me. . At Animosity, things will be getting very cold..."
Darren puts his foot on the gas, slowly moving out of the parking spot as the heater begins to pump out a warm air.

People have asked me... "Katie... You haven't said a negative word towards your husband since he left... Why?" Thats easy.. I don't hate him.. He left me with no word... No explination.. Nothing.. I just woke up... And he was gone.. But no.. No, I don't hate him... Because I love him, No matter what he does.. I love him... Even with all the schemes and disguises... and losing all of our money... I love him.. And that will never change... Why come back to TGW then? To get him back? Not at all.. This is my job.. This is where I belong.. *Katie Goddard walks down the hall of her hotel and lookis at all the numbers on the doors. She sees a certain number and knocks on the door. After a few minutes, the door opens slowly and Alyson Starr is standing there, wearing jeans and a blue tank top. She looks at Katie whos eyes are red. KAtie's hair is pulled back into a ponytail and shes wearing blak jeans and a yellow t-shirt with a black leather jacket over it. Alyson lowers her eyebrows and grabs Katie hugging her. Alyson escorts Katie into the room and Katie sits at the table, as Alyson gets her some coffee. The 2 best friends sit at the table and Katie just stares at her mug* Alyson Starr~Cage:Katie... You gotta snap out of this sweetie.. This isn't good.. We should be training..Katie Goddard:Training is the LAST thing I wanna do Aly...Alyson Starr~Cage: I know but... We have to... You're never gonna win anything if we don't start training... Sweetie.. If this is this hard.. maybe we shouldn;t be here...Katie Goddard: No Aly.. We have to stay... David is here.. You need him.. You and Christopher both do... I'll be fine.. Alyson Starr~Cage: Alright well.. We need to get your mind off of all of this.. We need some.. Retail therapy... Katie Goddard: Wheres David?Alyson Starr~Cage: Out training I think... Or something... Okay I'm gonna get my jacket... and we're going to the mall!!! *Katie smiles and nods as Alyson grabs her jacket. The 2 women exit the hotel room, Katie all the while knowing, Nothing is going to heal her heart.* Alyson Starr~Cage... My best friend in the entire world.. She has done nothing in the past few months but try and help me feel better.. As much as I would love to let her know shes helping me.. I could never lie to her... Sure, Sometimes she gets my mind off things for a minute but.. Then it goes right back to him... *Alyson emerges from the dressing room at Charlotte Russe wearing a sparkly blue dress. Katie makes a face and Alyson frowns.* Alyson Starr~Cage: No? Katie Goddard: Hell no.. Alyson Starr~Cage: Whats wrong with it? Comeon Katie!! You lived in Vegas!!! How do you not like sparkly, pretty things?? Katie Goddard: Thats not the Vegas I experienced remember...? That was Jack's Vegas... I was always the one hidden away... Playing different roles.. *Alyson walks back into the dressing room and from outside the clothes go flying around, as Alyson changes outfits.* Alyson Starr~Cage: Then why do it? Doesn;t sound fun. Katie Goddard: I was happy.. Because after we won the money.. We went home.. and we were happy.. *Alyson looks down as Alyson emerges again, this time in tight black jeans and a black cut-off T-shirt with stars all over it, and a pair of fingerless black gloves on her hands. Katie nods and smiles.* Katie Goddard: Now that I like.. Thats VERY VERY you... Alyson Starr~Cage: I agree... Yay!!! Finally we agree on something!! *Aly walks back into the room and Katie laughs.* Katie Goddard: So you and David are doing good huh? Alyson Starr~Cage: Better than ever.. We're wonderful!!! He seems to have changed so much... So.. We'll see where it all goes... I hate that we finalized the divorce before but... We can always fix that and get RE-Married. So... You know.. Its all good.. *Alyson walks out of the dressing room in her original clothes. She grabs her 20 shopping bags she already has, before the 2 women head to the register to pay.* Wrestling.. The one and only thing that I still have that won't change. You win some.. You lose some.. Thats the way the wrestling world works... And not only is it never changing.. But its the best stress reliever IVe ever known... You get in the ring and nothing else matters.. besides doing everything you an to tire out and hurt your opponent.. That is the greatest job.. anyone could ever have. *Leaning against a railing at a local mall, Katie Lynne Goddard looks down at the lower level as the scene opens up. Katie looks over at the TGW cameras and takes a deep breath.* Katie Goddard: Darren Moore... You are one of the most idiotic men I've ever met.. And I lived in Vegas.. so thats saying something.. I'm not ready for our match? how in the HELL would you know wether or not I'm ready for this match... And don't you worry about me not getting hurt or injured to "help my respect". I won't be getting hurt... You just worry about what I'm going to do to you.. I don't cheat if thats what you were trying to imply... I play fair and square.. but that doesn;t mean I won't try and make you bleed.. Try and make this unpleasent for me Darren... I dare you... You'll only be doing yourself damage.. Don;t tell me what my disadvantages are... Because all you're doing is underestimating me.. Noone in Vegas would EVER bet against me.. Not with my last name.. They know the name WAY too well..and they know Goodard.. is a winning name, And will remain one. When have I EVER tried to say I'm the best, or "praised my past" don;t you dare put words in my mouth Moore.. Cause I'll kick them right out, along with your teeth. You can go ahead and try to climb the TGW ladder... But the sad truth is... I will NOT be the first rung you step on, on that ladder... You see Darren... All you're doing is underestimating little ol' me. And thats PERFECTLY fine with me.. Because when I pin you... 1...2....3 in the middle of that ring... and you hear my music blare through those speakers... You will regret those words of underestimation... And thats all I'm gonna say to you... Except for this.. Good luck, You'll need it *Katie smirks and turns away from the camera to watch the shopers as the TGW cameras slowly fade to black.*

*A courtroom... A brightly lit courtroom. Ironic the lighting in this place seeing as to how nothing bright and cheery ever goes on in here. A brightly lit courtroom, In Las Vegas... The city of Sin.. An appropriate name for such a place as Vegas... Happy endings never really existed in Vegas did they? So why did I, Katie Goddard, believe any different? I sit here, in a knee length black shirt, with a yellow tank top and a black suit jacket over it. Next to me, My divorce lawyer, behind me, My best friend, My rock, Alyson Starr. And at the other table... Noone. I hear the bench behind me creek, and Alyson places her hand on my shoulder.* Alyson Starr: Where is he? *I shrug, staring down at the table as my mind starts to wander....* *Katie Cole sits at a bar in the middle of the Palms Casino. Being only 17, Katie of course couldn't drink, but she had many friends in Vegas, So she was just hanging out. Feeling a pair of eyes on her, Katie turns away from her best friend, Alyson Starr for a minute and meets the green eyes of a poker player just outside the bar. She blushes lightly seeing him smile at her. Katie stands up slowly and makes her way out of the bar with Alyson, Upon walking behind the man, She leans over slowly and whispers* Katie Cole: I'd fold if I were you... *Katie smirks and continues to walk along side Alyson. A few seconds later, Katie stops walking and turns to face the man, Who had gotten up from the table to follow Katie.* Katie Cole: You're welcome. *The man smiles and holds his hand out to Katie.* Jack Goddard: Jack Goddard... Katie Cole: Katie... *Katie smiles and shakes his hand, But he raises it and kisses the back of her hand.* Jack Goddard: Well Katie No Last Name, Would you like to join me for dinner tonight? Katie Cole: Sure, I'll meet you infront of Tao.. 8' o'clock.... See you later Jack Goddard.. *Katie turns and starts to walk with Alyson again, looking over her shoulder at a smirking Jack Goddard.* *20 minutes have passed, And there is still no sign of my husband, Isn't this what we wanted? Why wouldn't he show up to get exactly what he wants? Can he not face me after what he did? Was I that horrible? I look behind me at Alyson and she just simply shakes her head. The door at the side of the room opens and a man in a long black robe walks in. He sits down and looks down at his papers and then up at the room* Judge: I see only one party has shown up... Mrs. Goddard, Is there anything you would like to say? You may address the court. *I stand up and clear my throat, Trying to get my words together... but yet another event running through my mind* *Katie Cole stands in a room with her best friend Alyson, wearing a short white dress and white heels. Alyson places a veil on her head and Katie smiles into the mirror. She turns to Alyson who hands her some flowers.* Alyson Starr: Ready? *Katie smiles and the girls walk out into the tiny Vegas Chapel. The only people besides her and her future husband being Alyson and one of Jack's friends. Katie walks down the small aisle and takes her place next to her fioncee. The 2 smile at each other and the priest starts.. after a few minutes, the best thing Katie has ever heard finally comes through.* Priest: Do you Jack, Take Katie to be your lawfully wedded wife, To have and to hold, For better or worst, Richer or poorer, In sickness and in health, For as long as you both shall live? Jack Goddard: I do. Priest: And do you Katie, Take Jack to be your lawfully wedded husband, To have and to hold, For better or worst, Richer or poorer, In sickness and in health, For as long as you both shall live? Katie Cole: I do. Priest: By the power invested in me by the state of Nevada, I now pronounce you man and wife, You may now kiss the bride. *Jack grabs, and dips Katie and kisses her, as she wraps her arms around his neck.* *I slowly sit back down, after acknowledging I really didn't have too much to say about the situation, Besides lying about the fact that I no longer wanted my husband in my life. Alyson once again reaches forward and grips my shoulder, squeezing it. I feel the tears burning my eyes, The judge clears his throat again and stands up* Judge: I'm going to go review everything in my chambers. I'll be out with a decision in a few minutes. *He steps down from his position and Alyson squeezes my shoulder gently, As I once again do nothing but look down at the table* *Katie Goddard wakes up slowly, smiling. She turns over onto her back and lowers her eyebrows not seeing her husband in bed with her. She sits up and yawns, and looks around. Katie steps out of bed and walks out of the bedroom, She makes her way down the stairs and goes into the kitchen. Not seeing him there, Katie franticly starts searching the house* Katie Cole: Jack.... Jack??? JACK!! *Katie looks in every section of the house she can think of. After a few minutes, she grabs her cell and dials Jack's cell phone number, Everytime getting his voicemail. Katie sinks onto the couch and hangs her head. She had felt this coming for some time, But everytime she asked Jack if there was something wrong, He lied to her face and told her no. Katie stays on the couch, and cries for what, to her, feels like eternity* *The chamber door opens one more time and one again the judge walks out. I stand as the judge sits and he clears his throat.I take a deep breath, Not really sure which way I want the judge's decision to go.* Judge: Mrs. Goddard, After reviewing everything, and seeing that your husband didn't show, I see this marriage is unable to be fixed. The divorce is hereby granted. *The sound of the gavel echos throughout the courtroom. I hang my head, before turning and walking out of the courtroom. I get outside and after a few short words with my lawyer, I get into the passengers side of Alyson's car. She knows me so well, She stays quiet and turns the car on, and starts driving.* *I stand in the ring in the empty arena where Animosity will take place. Looking around at all the lights and empty seats, I can't help but picture this place filled to capacity with TGW fans anxiously awaiting to hear my theme music. Cracking my neck, I turn to the TGW camera to my left, and lean back against the ropes, as the TGW cronies are still working on getting the arena ready.* Katie Cole: This ring... Believe it or not.. Is my salvation. Many people are probably thinking.. How is a place where people break their bodies, and get bloody, and hell.. some even become paralyzed, how is THAT a place of salvation? That's easy.. Like I've said before.. In here, Nothing else matter but you and your opponent.. And unfortunately for Darren Moore, HE is my opponent for animosity. And Darren... I've got ALOT of pent up frustration, And you have not done yourself a favor by pissing me off.. You see, You can go ahead and watch the people I hang out with... Find my training videos and watch them... I couldn't really care less. Because you see.. Watching videos is NOTHING like being in the ring with me. You can't FEEL the pain I inflict on people through videos... You can't sense the anger and the hate and the PASSION through videos. You can't see the look in my eyes, or feel my heat through those videos... So all you'll be doing is once again, Underestimating me. And like I said, That's fine by me. All it does is give me the upperhand in our match. So Darren... Do yourself a favor.. Stop watching tapes and just get yourself mentally prepared to get into that ring with me.. Because THATS whats going to help you.. This business is as much about mental strength as it is about physical strength. Remember that. *I nod and exit the ring. Knowing the camera is fading to black at this moment, I make my way to the back.*
