Welcome to Animosity 21! I am your TrueGlory.com host, Stan Brooks. Tonight we learn who will compete for the Volitionary Championship and we will see the return of “King” James Dean. Also on tap..--
Our cameras cut backstage to catch AJ Adams and Russell Franchise fighting in the backstage area. Both men are throwing punch after punch. Finally, Russell Franchise gets the upper hand and hits a massive punch to drop Adams to the floor!
Franchise: Tell me what I want to know!
Adams: Alright!
Franchise stands over top of Adams, who is now grinning.
Adams: You're worthless.
Franchise, furious as hell, lands another punch to Adams face.
Franchise: Alright, be like that! I got something for you!
Franchise backs up and sets up for The Gamechanger, but right before he hits the clothesline, AJ Adams stands up and hits him with a folded steel chair close by. Franchise is left stunned and holding his head! AJ then grabs a table and pulls Franchise towards it!
Adams: If you won't believe me, then you are just going to have to LISTEN!
Adams then hits a DDT with Franchise's head going straight through the table! Franchise's head is bleeding. Referees and security crew members run out to separate AJ Adams, who is laughing his ass off watching Franchise bleed.
Medical personnel attend to Russell who is not responding...he's out cold! Will he be able to wrestle tonight? Has his chance for his Volitionary Championship been dashed?
Jessica Blake Vs. Shane Tallin
Volitionary Title Tournament – Singles Match
Volitionary Title Tournament – Singles Match
Our first match of the night is a second round match in the Volitionary Title Tournament. It's being contested under single match rules so lets get started. Tallin smirks and tries for a kick to the legs of Blake, she is ready and jumps them and blasts Tallin with a dropkick to the chest. Tallin hits the mat and rolls backwards, leaned up against the turnbuckle. Blake charges and lands a running knee to the head of Tallin. She's on full speed and not letting up as she jumps onto the bottom ropes getting air, uses the top rope to pull herself in and dropkicks the chest of Tallin.
Blake jumps to her feet at the pleasure of the fans and pulls Tallin up. Tallin swings and connects with a European uppercut that staggers Blake backwards. He locks up and lands a few knees to the gut before landing a swinging neckbreaker. Tallin rolls into a cover but barely gets 2. He pulls her up and locks back up and starts to set up for a suplex, but Blake hooks her leg around Tallin and rolls him up in a small package! Tallin kicks out at 2 as they both pop up to their feet. Tallin charges and looks for a clothesline but Blake is ready and ducks, then landing a few shots of her own. She drops Tallin with a bulldog and he starts to rise, she charges off the ropes and connects with a crossbody. She points to the fans as they cheer, Tallin starting to stir. She runs at the ropes and springboards! SWEET KISS! She covers and its over.
Winner: Jessica Blake [Pinfall]
Well, from what I hear the next match was set to be Russell Franchise and Scott Myers but the trainers are still looking over Franchise and attending to his injuries, so instead Adams is ready to go so here comes Rick Mad to the ring. Franchise is going against the wishes of the trainers and still plans on competing tonight after being knocked out by Adams.
From one of the entrances of the arena, the door opened as Xaria Linette and Gabe Shelley walked in together. However, they were not holding hands. Occasionally they would take quick glances at each other, but otherwise they were uncomfortably quiet. One of the cameramen followed them closely behind as they made their way down the hall and stopped before her locker room door.
Donning a sunflower dress, yellow bracelets around her left wrist and pink bracelets around her right, and discolored high heels-- one yellow and one pink-- Xaria opened the door and stepped aside for him to enter first. She offered a weak smile but still said nothing. He reached above her, holding the door and tilting his head to the side. His shaggy hair plopped to the side and he ran his fingers through it.
Gabe Shelley: "Go ahead."
He swung around to let her have more room to walk. As she slid by he offered her a smile, but his eyes lacked the sparkle.
Xaria Linette: "Merci."
Her voice was without real brightness as she thanked him in French and walked inside. Just a few steps inside, she paused and looked over her shoulder at him.
Xaria Linette: "... Gabriel..."
He closed the door behind them and laid her bags down, turning to her as she spoke.
Gabe Shelley: "Yes, Xaria?"
He took a step closer to her and put his hands in his pockets. She turned around to completely face him, looked into his eyes and forced another weak smile on her face. The both of them seemed so emotionally distant from each other despite being physically close. Her right hand lifted itself from her side and slowly reached out to him, the bracelets jingling softly. However, she paused and held that hand a few inches away from his face, quivering as if he was too sacred to touch. A few seconds felt like forever, but that hand finally cupped his left cheek.
Xaria Linette: "... we're going to be okay... we're going to live..."
He seemed a big confused at what she was saying as he moved some hair away from her face.
Gabe Shelley: "Of course we...I..I'm confused Xaria, is something wrong?"
Her weak smile slowly began to fade as she placed her other hand on his other cheek, thumbs brushing over his jawline and fingertips massaging his cheek bones in small circles. A gesture of love and affection, but there didn't seem to be any real spirit.
Xaria Linette: "I feel... so unworthy of you, yet somehow you continue to love me. I'm the one with so many flaws, and you... you're so perfect. You are mon dieu..."
"My god." He tried to smile, yet he couldn't seem to make himself.
Gabe Shelley: "I do love you, Xaria, but I'm not perfect. I have my flaws just the same."
He took a laid his hands over hers and gave them a squeeze. Her eyes lulled halfway, completely closed the distance between them and rested her head against his chest. Her hands did not move away from his face or his hands, her left thumb brushing lightly over his soft lips. She couldn't find anything to say at the moment, simply allowing the silence to embrace them. He began to talk with his chin resting on her head.
Gabe Shelley: "I'm sorry this week has been so hard, Xaria. It's been tough on me too; it's just harder when you're not trusting me. I don't know what to do."
Her fingers slid up into his hair and combed the strands, but other than breathing she didn't do anything else.
Xaria Linette: "It's not that I don't trust you, Gabriel. I'm just... I'm scared... I don't want to lose you. You're the only thing that keeps my heart beating, my blood flowing and my mind... as stable as it can get. I fear... that if she doesn't ruin us, something else will. Something worse..."
Gabe Shelley:"What could be worse? There isn't anything to worry about..."
He paused as took a step back so he could look into her eyes.
Gabe Shelley: "Xaria, what is this really about? I know better to know that this is not all about Alli."
She looked into his eyes for just a brief moment, the flicker in her eyes one of pain and self-resentment, and then she looked away in the throes of some kind of secret shame.
Xaria Linette: "... I can't... say... because it is worse than Alli... and if I tell you, you'll..."
She trailed off, swallowed nervously and bit down on her lower lip. He shook his head and just ran his fingers though his hair, pulling it in some frustration.
Gabe Shelley: "Again... you're not trusting me. Xaria, you need to be able to talk to me about everything."
She felt her hands falter back down to her sides the second he drew away. His frustration was understandable; enough was enough. Sighing, she lifted her head and looked him in the eye once more.
Xaria Linette: "I... I can't let you get involved in this battle, mon amour. This is something I have to fight alone. It's not gonna die otherwise... if it can even die... I'm so sorry. I'm so... sorry... mon dieu..."
"My god." He felt like he wanted to punch something, so angry at the lack of trust she showed. He just sighed, hanging his head down. His hands felt limp, his heart not wanting to beat.
Gabe Shelley: "Xaria... I don't know what to do anymore. There is lesser communication between us, lesser trust, and more tension then there should be. I don't understand what is going on but..."
He didn't know if he could say it. Did he even want to say it?
Gabe Shelley: "Maybe we need to figure out where we are."
Xaria Linette: "... where we are...?"
She gazed deeply into his eyes, her own allowing a brief shimmer. What did he mean by that? What was going on between them? Why was it so hard to just talk? A thousand questions without any answers. Her heart began to pound against her chest slowly. What was really seconds felt like hours passing by and her world was struggling to stand tall. She was barely able to keep herself up. With all the tension they experienced this week... He couldn't look at her, staring at the floor under his feet.
Gabe Shelley: "If you can't let me be apart of whatever it is that's going on, then why am I standing here? At first it started with you not trusting me about not loving Alli anymore, now it's whatever this is. When will it end? I can't keep standing here when there is no more room for me to stand by you."
Her eyes that had been so dead all week were now wide with fear and guilt. It was as if someone pulled a loose string in her back and her emotions were beginning to pour. No one ever thought that of all people, Xaria would bottle up her emotions. But as quickly as they began to pour, she immediately stuffed them back inside-- only to smile with some sort of hope.
Xaria Linette: "... I know that it's not really the end... we just need some time to breathe, recollect ourselves and figure things out. I-I understand, mon amour, I really do. I'm not gonna beg you to stay and I'm not gonna cry. I won't stand in your way. Just remember that I'll be waiting for you... je le promets."
"I promise." Taking a step forward, her hands reached up, one around his neck and the other on the back of his head. Gently, she brought him down enough so her smaller frame could press close to him again and kissed him. It seemed to be the only passion between them now. As her arms wrapped around his neck, he lifted her, holding his arms around her tight. He didn't want to let her go as the kiss just held. They slowly broke as their foreheads touched. He kept on holding onto her, holding back his sadness. He slowly lowered her onto her feet and kissed her forehead, running his fingers through her hair.
Gabe Shelley: "Je vous aimerai toujours, mon Xaria."
"I shall always love you, my Xaria." He held his hand against her face, his eyes swollen but he refused to cry. He smiled, a real smile full of warmth.
Gabe Shelley: "Mon ange."
"My angel." She mirrored him, placed a hand on his face and genuinely, warmly smiled in return.
Xaria Linette: "Mon dieu."
Her eyes were so bright, and yet... this little Frenchwoman was holding back so much misery. Their dissonance was one of the most painful things to watch; some of their fans were brought to tears. Knowing how hard this was on him, he knew it was harder on her. He leaned down and kissed her deeply, as if he was hoping to transfer all of his energy, strength, and love to her. It seemed to last a lifetime before they broke, tears in both of their eyes as he turned.
Gabe Shelley: "This isn't goodbye..."
Even as he faced away from her, she reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze.
Xaria Linette: "Ceci est vous voit plus tard."
"This is see you later." She didn't want to let him go, but she had to because it was the right thing to do. For their love because it still had a pulse. He nodded, holding back his emotions and he repeated her as if to reassure himself.
Gabe Shelley: "Ceci est vous voit plus tard."
"This is see you later." He reached up to his neck, taking off his favorite rope necklace with the ring that his grandfather had given him. He turned and placed it in her hands, clasping them together. He took a deep breath in and turned, opening the door. Her hands remained clasped together to hold onto the necklace as if it was the last him of him she had. The departure felt like an eternity... and with the saddest smile in the world, the angel began to hum her mother's lullaby in an attempt to give him the song to memory. He really was leaving, but he would be back. He had to be. He heard her hum as he thought back on the first time he heard that tune. Catching her and telling her, "I got you." He knew that he didn't want to leave, but that for the sake of whatever could be down the road he had to. He pulled the door closed behind him, leaving the building soon after.

The Sirens are seen walking down the hallway, all smiling and laughing celebrating Jessica's win. Kirsten come sinto the view of the camera and tries to hold the microphone out to Jessica.
Kirsten: Jessica, congra...
The Sirens just keep walking past Kirsten, and she takes a step back, looking a little shocked. Alyson looks over her shoulder and smiks and Kirsten, before the girls enter their locker room.
Russell Franchise Vs. Scott Myers
Volitionary Title Tournament – Tables Match
Volitionary Title Tournament – Tables Match
As we turn back to the ring, AJ Adams is still at ringside sitting beside the announce table but is not wearing a microphone. Franchise is out first and looks pretty beat up as he walks down the ramp. AJ stands up and starts to look under the ring, finding a table and starts to set it up. He's already put him through one table today. Here comes Scott Myers from behind and tosses Franchise into the ring.
The match starts as Myers just assaults Franchise relentlessly, laying blow after blow before sending him into the corner. Myers charges and lands a big spear that doubles the A Game over. Myers flips his head up to the ladies of the crowd, giving Franchise just enough breath to charge with a huge spear. Adams looks around and slides the table into the ring, sneaking in right behind it as Franchise and Myers battle back and forth on the ground. Adams sets the table up and kneels. Franchise is to his feet and is dropped by Adams with a superkick. The fans boo as Adams stands over Franchise, Myers pulling the table to the middle of the ring.
Myers pushes Adams out of his way and starts to pull Franchise up, but Adams grabs him from behind. He lifts him and hits a German suplex through the table! The referee is confused and calls for the bell, awarding the match to Franchise as Myers went through a table. Adams stands and laughs, kneeling down and telling Franchise that he doesn't lie. He told him he'd meet him in the finals. Adams teases an anklelock but only applies a quick twist and drops it. Adams calls for the belt around his waist as he leaves the ring.
Winner: Russell Franchise [Myers through a table]
The camera turned to Nikko TaDa who was walking down the hallways, backstage. He seemed to be waiting for someone at the moment until the former eWo superstar, Lina Perego arrived to meet The Oni Tamago. She seemed a bit distracted at the moment by the force of her smile.
Lina Perego: So... this is TGW, huh?
Nikko TaDa: Yeah. It's a great company.
Nikko seemed a bit bit suspicious by the look in Lina's eyes. He knew something was wrong. He slightly tilted his head a bit and let out a sigh.
Nikko TaDa: Ok, what's wrong? I can tell when people are faking a smile. From the look in your eyes, you're just forcing that smile on your face.
Lina frowned as Nikko saw right through her. She didn't want to hurt Nikko in either way like his former sensei did, yet she seemed a bit annoyed about what she found out earlier. She slowly let out a small sigh.
Lina Perego: Nikko... I was wondering, do you know a woman named Kaori Shikagami?
A red light struck Nikko when The Fiery Cheerleader mentioned his former sensei's name. He despised Kaori and is not too fond of people bringing her up. He slammed his fist against the wall and then turned to Lina.
Nikko TaDa: Don't mention her name again... I hate that Gothic emo whore so much. Why did you bring her up?
Lina Perego: But is it true that you used to be acquainted with her? Tell me that's not true, Nikko because she's always been a bad seed. She's nothing but a manipulative, obsessive curse. She's only pretending to be happy and play nice with people... I overheard her talking not that long ago, saying that she would do anything in her power to get rid of you for good. She was threatening you, Nikko.
Nikko fell silent for a moment as he took a step closer to her, but he couldn't give her any eye contact. He sighed.
Nikko TaDa: Lina... the part where I used to be acquainted with her is true until I found out the truth from her. The truth that she was only using me and that she couldn't let go of the past; refusing to be happy. I moved out of that apartment so she can have her wish of being alone granted. I have a mind of my own, and I know that I would never follow that bitch's footsteps. I want to change, Lina... I really want to change for the better.
Lina thought for a moment about Nikko's words. Can he really change for the better as well as even being committed to it? She shook her head.
Lina Perego: If you want to change, then you have to be very well-committed to it. Let's see if you can change for the better. Anyways, I wish you good luck on your match tonight.
Nikko TaDa: Arigatou, Lina.
He couldn't help but smile a little bit as Lina waved and then walked off so she can cheer her friend on.
Nikko TaDa Vs. James Dean
Once the bell rings, James Dean and Nikko TaDa are set to go in the ring. They don't take long to throw punches towards each other, mostly hitting body shots but at times getting head and neck shots. Dean is especially the better brawler as his shots as stronger than TaDa's, yet TaDa keeps coming back for more. As if their minds synced together for just one moment, they both hit each other with simultaneous enzuigiris and fall onto the mat! The referee checks on them, but a count's not necessary when both wrestlers get back up almost at the same time. Dean immediately strikes TaDa with a harsh yakuza kick to the chest, who falters a little and gasps, yet the Oni Tamago strikes back with a shoot kick to the King's chest. However, Dean doesn't stagger as much as TaDa, retaliating with a backhand across his face-- perhaps a slight homage to Scott Free's counter mock slap! This causes the fans to offer a mixture of cheers and boos. Mostly boos, but still.
He kicks TaDa in the midsection, Irish whips him off the ropes and takes him down with a spear and a flurry of punches to his face. The referee lectures Dean to get off or else he'll be disquality, and Dean yells at him to "fuck off!" after laying off the attack. TaDa's dizzy, but that doesn't quite stop him from delivering a boot to Dean's face and stuns him for a moment. While Dean staggers away, TaDa gets on his feet and goes for a hurricarana-- only Dean was playing possum and he reverses this into a midair spinebuster slam! He goes for a quick pin attempt, but TaDa kicks out at two. Dean's indifferent to this, getting up and spitting in his eye! The referee tries to reason with Dean again, but the King threatens to hurt him and the poor official in stripes backs off. Turning back to the floored TaDa, Dean forces him onto his feet, kicks him in the midsection and pulls off a German suplex. However, he doesn't let go, rather he switches position and executes a perfect T-bone suplex, then he lifts him up across his shoulders and nails a perfect Revelry to finish the chain! Once again Dean goes for a pin attempt with the hook of a leg, yet somehow TaDa gets the shoulder up mere nano-seconds before the three! Infuriated, Dean gets up, clenches his fists and yells at the referee "count faster, bitch!"
The fans aren't quite sure who to cheer and who to boo. Really, most of them hate these two. Just when Dean's about to make another move, TaDa sprays Asian Mist in Dean's eyes-- something the fans take a hating to-- gets up through adrenaline and pulls off the Demon Horns spinning shoot kick across his blinded face! Both men are down and the referee starts a count. At least now the fans offer a "Let's go Dean! Let's go Ta-Da!" chant as the count gets to two... three... four... Dean's on his feet at five, just regaining his eye sight, and TaDa is right there half a second later. A kick to TaDa's midsection halts him for just a second while Dean goes for a Samoan side driver, but TaDa somehow reverses this into a desperate DDT in the center of the ring! Now it's his turn to go for a pin attempt, but Dean kicks out at two.
As he gathers himself, TaDa gets this determined look in his eyes like he knows what he must do to put Dean away. He gets on his feet, starts to mosh it up in the ring and heads for the nearest top turnbuckle. But while he goes for the top, Dean's just getting onto his feet, and when TaDa goes for one of his signature moves, the Mosh Pit, Dean is able to counter this with a busaiku knee kick! For it to be used as an anti-aerial attack mimics Jack Darling's BOOM, Headshot, but it's mostly a message towards Xaria Linette-- as that move is also her Rain-BOOM! The fans despise this and throw a chorus of boos, only fueling Dean's spite of the Rainbow Angel. As Dean attends to the booing of the fans, it allows TaDa to get to his feet. TaDa lands a swift kick to the gut that makes Dean fall to a knee. Both competitors running on fumes. TaDa sets up for a fisherman DDT, but Dean drops down with a small package and gets a win! TaDa jumps up and can't believe it!
Winner: James Dean [Pinfall]
Dean and TaDa lock eyes as the fans cheer both competitors on. The rookie, TaDa, giving Dean a great match. If this is a sign of things to come TaDa is going to have a great career.
Backstage we see TGW Majority Owner, Alli Taylor sitting in her office talking on the phone. Just as she is finishing up, Wade Mason decides to walk in.
Alli Taylor: ”... You know that I'm always just a phone call away, don't forget that. I got to go... Bye.”
Mason seats himself in the chair in front of her desk with a big smirk on her face.
Alli Taylor: ”You knew that Norton was going to bail on his contract didn't you? That's why you didn't care to hold onto it, you didn't want it on your hands.”
Wade Mason: ”Actually, no I had no idea. I had every intention on you giving Norton his title match and then using it against you. Because I have an amazing surprise for you.
There is a small knock at the door as the TGW Champion, French Montana walks in the room. He is suited up and his hair is combed neatly, a makeover of sorts. He stands beside Mason, holding the TGW Title over his shoulder.
Wade Mason: ”You see, you failed to even read what I was getting in exchange for Norton's contract and that is the contract of the TGW Champions. Or, well, the only champion we have right now. I've spent the past few weeks showing Mr. Montana here that he can have anything he wants in his career. He has the talent, the charisma, and the voice of a champion. You don't have a suitable contender for his title so Montana gets to decide his opponent for Hysteria during the week. Plain and simple, you just screwed yourself. This is an attack, prepare for battle.
A speechless Taylor just sits there as Mason and Montana leave together.
Xaria Linette Vs. Lance Peterson Vs. Logan
We are on to the main event of the evening. We waste no time as all three competitors make their way to the ring little interaction with the fans, even Xaria Linette. There is no bubbly persona tonight as Peterson and Logan lock up first. Peterson hits a quick snapmare as Linette attacks with a leg lariat on Peterson. Logan pulls Linette back up and stands to land lefts and rights but is quickly thrown off by a back elbow from her. Peterson is right there and hip tosses Linette as Logan drops him with a sleeper slam. Linette is to her feet and catches Logan with a running dropkick that sends him rolling out of the ring. Both are to their feet and lock back up. Linetter lands a flurry of lefts and rights before getting hit with a bulldog from Logan who had re-entered the ring as no one was watching. Logan and Peterson exchange a few quick blows before Peterson lands a vicious kick to the gut. Peterson hits a Northern Lights Suplex and bridges for a pin. He gets two before Linette breaks it up with a stomp.

He stands and Linette is diving through the air and connects with a dragonrana! The fans jump up but Peterson is stalking Linette now. She starts to stand and he charges for a spear, connecting!
Peterson is up and starts to pull Linette up, looking for a suplex. He lifts Linette up but Logan us there to pull her down, surprising Peterson. Logan locks in a sleeper hold on Peterson, looking for the Connector. Peterson battles out and hits the Peterson on Logan! Linette comes out of nowhere from the top rope and hits Peterson with the OBJECTION! Linette locks in the Angelic Clutch on Logan and the referee calls for the bell as Logan taps!
Winner: Xaria Linette [Submission]
The result of the match is unimportant to Xaria Linette. She finally breaks the hold on Logan and stands. She starts walking up the ramp, ignoring the rest of this world. Her world was falling apart and everyone knew it. The stoical expression on her face barely contains the boiling pot of her emotions as she still stuffs them inside of herself. She's like a bomb ready to go off at any second. Pushing past the curtains and avoiding people, she reaches her locker room-- where everyone saw the "closure" between her and her boyfriend Gabe Shelley earlier tonight-- and goes inside for just a moment to retrieve her gear bag.
Not bothering to change her clothes, she rolls the bag along behind her, only with the intention of leaving the arena and approaching the nearest exit as fast as possible. She finds a side exit and decides to take it, slamming open the door and walking out of the arena. It’s just as miserable outside. A rare early March rain is pouring down making it difficult for her to see in front of her and she walks into somebody, forcing her to fall on her butt and let out a little "oof". A hand extends through the rain and helps her up. Finally on her feet, she wipes the rain from her face to see none other that James Dean standing in front of her. The rain is dripping down his face like a waterfall bringing out the blue in his eyes. He’s expressionless. "Hello, Xaria."
"Monsieur James..." she barely says above a whisper and her heart begins to thump painfully against her chest. She just begins to realize that they're still holding hands before she slowly draws her hand away and back to her side. She hasn't seen him in a long time. She knew about him being released from the Brookville Mental Health Center sometime in late February and him joining TGW on March 3rd. Why is this encounter such a strong surprise to her? Her own green eyes shimmer in the rain, ignorant of the cold whipping her body. "... bonjour..."
For James, this wasn’t a surprise; he expected this - he wanted this meeting to happen. He looks her up and down, his eyes stopping at hers. The expressionless look now long gone, replaced by a sadistic rage-filled stare. "Your life seems to be coming along," he says in a low monotone voice.
She notices the changes of his face and voice, taking a couple steps back to regain some space between the two of them. She's trying not to express any fear to her former friend, but her weakened mindset and trembling emotions are making things difficult. Taking a deep breath, she exhales slowly and reaches out towards him. "... not really... things just got worse..." she replies as her hand lightly touches his chest. She closes her eyes and listens for his heart beat.
The feeling of having her touch his chest sends butterflies to his stomach, his eyes lulling shut for a second. His body tenses up though and he swats her hand down, the rage coming back. He chuckles. "I was in there for a year. Not a phone call," he takes a step towards her. "Even when your life isn’t going the way you want it, you don’t have time for a friend?"
She quickly draws her hand away as soon as he swats it down, discomfort touching her body as he steps closer to her. The young Frenchwoman takes a few more steps away until her back presses against the door. A hand reaches back to turn the knob, but it's locked from the outside. She chews on her lower lip as the rain soaks the both of them. "... you said you wanted nothing to do with me anymore... but... I kept praying for you, even when you hated me..."
He walks right up to her and places his hand against the door directly beside her face. With a smile on his face, he speaks up. "Praying for me? Do you seriously think that was going to help me, Xaria?" He shakes his head and looks down at the ground then back into her eyes with hatred. "Not even God can help me. The only person that could have helped me turned her fucking back on me," he finishes, his voice beginning to become louder and more stern.
"I... I did no such thing," she softly protests and frowns, her eyes gazing into his. They are almost polar opposites; she is warmth and he is frozen. She's trying to warm him up and ignore her fears. "You were the one that turned away from me... just because I was finally happy... you betrayed me out of jealousy and never looked back, even when I called out to you..." It was the same case as her ex-husband accusing her of being a liar when she proclaimed he tried to rape her. Why was this happening again? She wants to know why she is being blamed for something she didn't do. Her need to go home grows stronger.
James turns his head to the side and laughs again. He brings his hand off the door just to harshly slam his fist, denting the door inches away from Xaria’s face. "Do you really believe that crap?" He shouts directly into her face, their noses almost touching now. "My life has been reduced to rubble because of you! YOU!" The rain continues to fall, bouncing off his rage filled face. He takes his fist off the door, his knuckles ripped and covered in blood. He takes a step back, raises his arms and spins around with a smile on his face. "There’s no one around! Yet here we are. You still find a way to blame me! No more!" He suddenly grabs her by the shoulders tightly as he screams at her.
She gasps the second his hands clutch her shoulders, feelings his nails starting to dig into the wet fabric of her dress and coming close to her flesh. Her sad, stoic expression has disappeared and it turned into one of fear and pain. She's trying her best not to cry; earlier she promised that she wouldn't. The only thing she can do otherwise is scream back. "Stop! Arrêter! Don't be like Frank! D-don't be like Kaori! Don't even be like Donavon! James, please... you're better than that! Deep down, you're still my friend... s'il vous plaît..."
He smiles at the notion that they are still friends and shakes his head, shaking her once in rage and pushing her up against the cold, wet steel door. He backs up and shakes his head, his eyes squeezing shut in anguish. "Friends? Please... We haven’t been friends for a very, very long time, Xaria." He opens his eyes, his body once again calm and emotionless. He walks up to her, their noses touching this time. "It’s a shame it has to end like this. See ya around, Xaria," he finishes in a low calm tone, and with a fake smirk he kisses her gently on the forehead. He turns and heads into the rain, vanishing.
That kiss... is it a subtle warning of sorts? She's left speechless after everything said and done, unable to move and barely able to breathe. The rain continues to pour relentlessly upon her and she doesn't know what's going to happen. Such stress is unhealthy, and soon she grabs her gearbag again and rolls it behind her towards the nearest bus stop. Gabe was already gone and James was...
James was too far away.
