(Author's Note: All permission needed is granted. There's more to the birthday party than this, but if I went all the way it would probably be over ten thousand words. So. Enjoy.)---
Finale ~
Chelsea Pryce was almost scrambling around in her house in Detroit. The home was decorated with blue, green and pink birthday decorations. Balloons, streamers and "happy birthday" signs were just parts of the work. She examined the living room where the plasma TV, the Playstation 3, the X-Box 360 and the Nintendo Wii were all set. The two couches would be enough for the teenagers of the party to be comfortable; they had first priority over the fewer adults. Upon a calendar, March 18th-- today-- was circled and a little present was drawn on it with a tag that read "Rosalyn".
"I feel like something is missing..." she contemplated aloud and walked back into the kitchen. The table was specially decorated with a colorful birthday table cloth, green, blue and pink plastic cups, plates and utensils organized upon one side alongside napkins, two-liter sodas and bags of chips. There were even party hats set around the table, a count of six in total but there were extras on the side just in case. She had informed Rosalyn that her restriction was relieved just today because it was her birthday and to invite two of her friends to come over after school. Little did she know that one of the surprises she had for her was the visit of her three best friends from Toronto, Mina, Zack and Jessica.
Speaking of surprises, Kerry Windsor entered the kitchen with a pretty large box in his hands.
"Here's the birthday cake," he stated, set it on the middle of the table and opened it. It was a three-layer German chocolate cake also decorated with green, blue and pink icing roses. It read "Happy 14th Birthday Rosie!". He glanced over at Chelsea and smiled.
"Relax. Everything's going to be fine."She looked back at him and smirked.
"Maybe. Where are the kids?" As if on cue, Mina, Zack and Jessica calmly dashed into the kitchen from the garage where Kerry came from and they all grinned. Chelsea's smirk eased into a smile.
"Good, almost everyone's here. We're just waiting on Rosalyn to come home with two more of her friends, and..." She trailed off for a moment before she sighed.
"Jack.""Are you sure about that, Ms. Pryce?" Jessica asked and tilted her head. "He's not gonna mock us, is he?"
"Chances are he will," Mina responded before Chelsea could and folded her arms. "But if he does, we'll just mock him in return. No big deal."
"Hey, we're going to behave," Zack protested and looked at Mina with a frown. "This is our best friend's fourteenth birthday. We're not mocking her father in front of her. That's rude."
Chelsea scratched the back of her head and nodded.
"Don't worry, I'll keep Jack in check," she reassured them and placed a hand on her hip. The door bell suddenly resonated throughout the house and she made her way out of the kitchen.
"That's probably him." Kerry and the teenagers watched as Chelsea reached the front door and opened it slowly.
"Hey, you're..." She trailed off when she saw who was at the door and immediately tensed up.
"... well I wasn't expecting the angel-gone-psycho to be here."Angel of the Rainbow
The unexpected guest turned out to be Xaria Linette. She was nicely fitted into a rainbow dress and white high heels, but it looked like the young Frenchwoman had been through torture.
"Bonjour, Chelsea," Xaria greeted with a barely decent smile and an odd tone.
"Don't worry, I've already vented so you don't have to worry about anything or anyone being destroyed.""Better be," Chelsea huffed and brushed at her soft purple dress.
"What are you doing here?""Oh, I'm just going to stay here for an hour, enjoy some birthday cake and soda. I bought Rosalyn a present." Xaria opened her Care Bears backpack and took out a nicely wrapped present in the shape of a rectangle.
"It's the complete set of Prisma colored pencils."Raising an eyebrow, Chelsea seemed a bit intrigued, still on her guard.
"Really? I don't think she has the complete set." She looked over her shoulder and noticed her company were quietly watching from the kitchen. Kerry offered her a nod and she nodded in return, facing Xaria again.
"Okay, you can stay for a little while. Mind you, Jack's also an invited guest to this party, so don't start any shit or I will...""Jack's coming? Oh goody," Xaria interrupted her warning and feigned beaming, but the smile remained on her face.
"And I'll be on my best behavior. Je te promets.""What?""It means 'I promise' in French.""Oh, okay," Chelsea stepped aside and allowed Xaria to come inside. Her eyes didn't leave her for a moment before she glanced back out and saw Michelson's car pull into the driveway.
"They're here," she signaled to Kerry, Xaria and the teenagers who began to hide themselves across the living room. Mother Nature tilted her head and watched as not only Michelson, Rosalyn, Peter and Jamie stepped out of the car, but so did Jack from the front passenger's seat.
"Speak of the bastard..." She bit down on her lower lip. This party might get a little crazy very early in the afternoon.
Section 5 ~~
Jack closed his door and studied the house, lightly whistling.
"It's actually pretty nice. Wonder how much Chels bought it for?" he wondered almost to himself, but the thought was lost when his daughter came over and hugged him. He allowed himself a brief smile as he wrapped an arm around her and looked down at her.
"Hugging me at school wasn't enough, huh Ros?""Nope," she smiled and gave him a gentle squeeze.
"No such thing as too many hugs, especially for you, dad." The birthday girl drew away and twirled around so her white skirt with green four-leaf clover prints twirled with her.
"I can't believe I'm fourteen already. I feel so old.""If you feel old, I feel ancient," Jack smirked.
"You've still got a lot of years ahead of you. Don't worry about it.""Dude, Rosalyn," Peter walked over to them and grinned. "I still can't believe your dad's here in the flesh."
"I know, but he is and it makes me all the happier," Rosalyn giggled and looked back at her father.
"Because out of his hectic schedule, he still finds the time to come out and be with me for a while.""I wouldn't miss your birthday for the world," Jack sincerely replied, then paused in thought.
"Well... now that we're in each others lives." He wasn't there since the beginning. Did he regret it? Maybe, but if he had stayed, he probably would've never been anywhere near as successful as he was today. For just a brief moment, he imagined himself in his younger days, carrying his little girl in his arms... what that would've been like... to be her father from the beginning... his thoughts were interrupted by his daughter gently tugging on his suit jacket.
"Dad?" she called out to him and tilted her head.
"Everyone's gone ahead. Are you okay?"Taken aback just a bit, Jack glanced around. Michelson and Rosalyn's friends were nowhere in sight.
"Must've spaced out," he whispered to himself. It didn't even occur to him that a minute or so flew by while he was in thought. He shook his head and looked back at her.
"Sorry, guess I am ancient.""No you're not." Rosalyn reached up and softly laid a hand on her father's face.
"You're my dad, and I'm glad that you're a part of my life now." She wrapped her arms around him and held him close with a smile. He
was there now and that was more than enough to make her happy.
Somehow she found a way to make him feel better, even a little. With no one around them now, he comfortably wrapped his arms around her in return, leaned down and rested his chin ontop of her head.
"... you know this doesn't excuse the fact that you're in trouble, right?""I know," she managed to whisper to him and rested her head on his chest.
"and I'm really sorry, dad.""I understand why you did it, Ros. You had good intentions, but regardless of how good they were, you still defied me and your mother. We don't want to lose you." He turned his head enough to kiss the top of hers. She perked up a little when he did this. He wouldn't dare do that in front of anyone else; after all, he was the Bastard Himself.
"Please don't defy us like that again.""I... I won't. And I promise this time, cross my heart." She almost didn't want this moment to end, but she knew they had to join the others. There was a birthday to celebrate, her birthday, perhaps even his belated birthday. She tilted her head up and looked him in the eye.
"We better get inside.""You're right," he nodded and slowly pulled away from her.
"Your mother's been working on your party since morning. The least we can do is not make her wait.""Yeah. Come on!"Jack watched Rosalyn's smile brighten up as she began to approach the front door. He was quick to follow her with a hint of a smirk on his face. This was the first time he attended a birthday party of his daughter. Her thirteenth birthday didn't count due to unwanted circumstances in the past, but that was done and over with. Like her, he didn't know what to really expect. Chelsea had just informed him last night to come over in the afternoon for Rosalyn's party. He also received voice mail from her saying that she was going to send their daughter not only to stay with him for spring break, but to uphold the punishment she gave her. It was acceptable. Their daughter needed to learn her lesson once and for all, for her sake as well as theirs.
"Pourtant vous ne devez pas oublier... " (Yet you must not forget...)
Rosalyn stopped before the front door, looked back at her father and smiled. When he nodded her head, she faced forward, reached out and opened the door. Strangely enough, the lights were out and the curtains covered most of the sunlight from getting inside. This was odd. Did they spend too much time bonding outside?
"Hello?" she called out and took a couple steps inside. Before she knew it, all the lights came on at once and everyone popped out with a shout of
"surprise!" She jumped back a bit, but soon she recovered and looked at everyone.
"Mina! Zack! Jessica!" she exclaimed with glee and ran to them for a group hug. She hadn't seen them in so long; it was such a nostalgic feeling. From their arms, she took a better look around and smiled.
"Kerry Windsor and Xaria Linette too?!"Xaria's presence actually took Jack by surprise, but just for a brief moment.
"Lollipops," he called and smirked.
"JigglyJack," Xaria responded and grinned. She watched the birthday girl dash over to embrace her, and she wrapped her arms around her in return. But deep down, she was being very
careful. Her mental stability was far from safe and she knew that she was capable of unleashing fury despite Chelsea's warning. For now, however, she seemed to be decent, kissing her forehead with a gentle smile.
"Joyeux anniversaire, peu est augmenté.""Merci!" Rosalyn had been taking some French lessons and knew that Xaria said "happy birthday, little rose". After a few more seconds, the hug was released and she ran over to Kerry, who surprisingly lifted her up in his arms.
"Wow!""It's nice to see you again, birthday girl," Kerry laughed and carefully set her down. He accepted her sudden embrace and wrapped his arms around her in return.
"It's nice to see you too, Kerry," Rosalyn beamed and pulled away, turning to face everyone with a wide smile.
"This is great! Thanks for coming, everyone.""We've got a lot planned," Chelsea started and tilted her head.
"A few video game tournaments including Power Stone 2, Tekken 6 and Time Crisis III. We've got cake and snacks in the living, and I'm gonna order pizza for all of us. The session of opening presents and we've even got a piñata set up in the backyard.""A piñata? Really?" Rosalyn was surprised to hear this.
"Sure. I'm gonna leave for Cancun, Mexico tomorrow, so I thought I'd buy a piñata for the first time and give it a whirl." Chelsea smiled, walked over and hugged her daughter.
"Makes this a little more special for my little girl.""Aw, mom..." Rosalyn smiled and hugged her back. There was a camera flash and she glanced back to see Michelson with a pink Sony DSCTX1/P 10MP digital camera in his hands.
"Is that...""For you, Lady Rosalyn," Michelson answered before she could complete the question. He walked over and handed it to her after she drew away from her mother. "Just one of the many things you deserve."
"Thank you Michelson!" She grinned and gave him a hug.
Chelsea observed them for a moment before she snapped her fingers.
"Speaking of presents, I'm gonna have to give you mine now..." She held a finger up to gesture that it would take a minute as she wandered towards her bedroom. The others began to hold a couple conversations with each other as she opened the door to her bedroom, only to be suddenly greeted by a puppy that began to paw at her ankles. It was a male golden retriever/Labrador mix with soft brown and blond fur. It appeared to be at least seven months old.
"Yes, you get to come out now," she chuckled and picked him up, taking a quick look around.
"Good, you didn't do any business here..." Relieved, she turned and walked back out to the others, and most of them were in immediate awe of the furry little animal.
"Everyone, this is Johnny. I adopted him from the Michigan Humane Society a couple days ago for my daughter.""Oh my gosh, you got me a puppy!" Rosalyn nearly shrilled with excitement and ran over to meet her new pet up close and persona. She was allowed to hold him in her hands and brought him to her face so he could lick her. She giggled and his tail wagged happily.
"Eee, he's so adorable, mom!"Seeing this, Jack covered his face with one of his hands, practically dumbfounded.
"Christ, a puppy..." he barely spoke above a whisper and shook his head.
"Chels, of all the things you could get Ros...""What? We finally live in a house and she's been begging me for a puppy for years, so I thought now was the time." Chelsea wore a shit-eating grin. She knew that it would throw Jack off guard and she enjoyed his reeling shock.
"He's going with you and Rosalyn back to Philadelphia tomorrow.""Fuck you," Jack nearly spat and drew his hand away, sharply glaring at his erstwhile high school sweetheart.
"You can't be serious..." He blinked when his daughter had come over to him with Johnny cradled in her arms. Both of them were giving him the puppy dog eyes, at which he could only groan and sigh.
"Fine, but you are completely responsible for him, understand Ros?" He was unable to back up in time as Rosalyn had brought Johnny up to lick his face.
"Gah! Okay, okay, enough.""He likes you, dad," Rosalyn giggled, pulled Johnny back while her father wiped his face of the dog saliva and faced her friends.
"Let's play with him in the backyard for a few minutes.""Sounds great," Zack grinned and studied Johnny while they all went to the backyard. "He looks like a golden retriever mix, maybe some labrador..."
"Can I hold him, Rosalyn?" Jessica asked and was soon answered with Johnny being placed in her hands. She smiled and handled him very gently, some of the others reaching out to pet him. "He's very calm for a puppy from the humane society."
With the teenagers out in the backyard busily playing with Johnny, the adults-- who mostly consisted of wrestlers-- turned to each other and took a seat on the available couches. Of course Jack and Xaria sat separately, so Chelsea was left to sit between Jack and Kerry while Michelson took a seat next to Xaria. Xaria observed the teenagers from afar and smiled.
"That was really sweet of you, Chelsea.""Sweet but certainly not an easy decision," Chelsea replied and folded her arms across her chest.
"After today, she's back on her restriction. Taking the puppy out for walks and playing with him is the only other exception to her going outside besides school.""I'm still baffled you got her a mutt," Jack retorted and placed his forehead on his hand which was propped up from the elbow on the armrest next to him.
"I know I bought her a silver 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, but...""A car? What the fuck, Jack, she's fourteen, not sixteen," Chelsea questioned this and stared at him.
"She's not gonna get it until she's sixteen. Unless I decide to sell that car and buy her something better in the next two years..." Jack smirked and pushed a few loose strands of his hair back.
"If it wasn't for the age limit, she could probably drive the damn thing better than the average thirty year old driver with meritocracy considered to be their "best".""A Ford Fusion Hybrid, huh? Nice. Mine's a silver 2010 Jaguar XK," Kerry pitched in with a proud grin.
Jack looked at the wrestler he knew the least about and raised an eyebrow.
"How does a poor guy like you get that kind of car? It's over one hundred thousand dollars...""Oh, that's right, we haven't met until now," Kerry tilted his head and extended a hand out to him above Chelsea's lap.
"Kerry Windsor, Sin wrestler and newly certified millionaire.""Ha..." Jack chuckled, looked at his hand but didn't shake it.
"Jack Darling, former eWo Grand Slam Champion, current WOLF wrestler, President of JDI Enterprises and multi-billionare.""Oh god, the egos have begun to inflate," Chelsea scoffed and tried to get away from them, but they both sat her back down.
"Hey!""So are you another one of Chels' boyfriends?" Jack began with a grin. He received an elbow to his gut from her for this.
Kerry raised an eyebrow.
"You mean there's another guy besides me dating her?" he teased, getting a punch to his shoulder from her as well.
Xaria giggled.
"Ohh, do I sense a love triangle?" she inquired with a hint of curiosity in her expression.
"A love square if Kelvin does get involved," Kerry replied.
Jack couldn't help but laugh.
"God damn Chels, you're a player of the game now, huh?""Fuck you guys," Chelsea snapped at the both of them.
"Been there, done that. Rosalyn was the result of it.""And I'm not into threesomes, thanks."Chelsea smacked the both of them and managed to pull herself away while they and Xaria laughed. Even Micehlson chuckled. It was all a joke, really, no real harm done. There was some relief to the teasing when the doorbell rang and Chelsea sighed, walking over and answering the door. The first person she saw surprised her.
"Jon? What a pleasant surprise.""Sorry I'm late, would've been here earlier but there were some moderate delays at the airport this morning," Jonathon smiled and waved a hand.
"Speaking of the other boyfriend," Jack pointed out with a sly little smirk.
Chelsea rolled her eyes and noticed a few others coming to the front.
"Justin, Derek, Samantha, Terry and Kayleb, you made it!" She smiled and opened the door for all of them to come in.
"Phew, looks like we're gonna have to use the bedrooms for more space and conversations.""Among
other adult activities," Derek chimed with his Italian accent, wrapped an arm around Justin and kissed his forehead. Jack and Kerry were a little bewildered by this, but everyone else didn't seem all that surprised. If their matching purple and hot pink suits didn't give away the fact that they were a gay couple, the viewer was blind. "Haha, just-a kidding. We're-a here to celebrate-a Rosalyn's fourteenth birthday."
"Right," Samantha warmly smiled and took a seat next to Kerry, watching her boys run out to the backyard to join the teenagers with the new puppy.
Kerry looked at the boys, then their mother herself and smiled.
"Well hi there. Are you a single mother too?"She chuckled. "Sorry, young man," she raised her left hand and showed him the diamond ring around her left ring finger. "you're a little late."
"Dude, don't flirt with my sister-in-law," Justin walked over to them and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"She's the wife of a marine, who happens to be mine and my sister's older brother."Hearing this, Kerry sheepishly grinned and raised his arms in surrender.
"W-wow, sorry, I didn't know.""It's alright," Samantha offered him a forgiving smile. "You must be Kerry Windsor of Sin Wrestling. My name is Samantha Pryce, wife of Ronald Pryce and mother of Terry and Kayleb Pryce."
"Nice to meet you, ma'am," he replied, still a little bit taken aback from the surprise. The back of his left ear was flicked by two fingers and he winced, glancing back.
"Hey, watch it Chels.""Careful who you flirt with, Windsor," Chelsea sternly warned him.
"My family's pretty tough. You don't want to be caught in a fight with any of us.""I was caught in one with you," he smirked and poked her nose. Her nose wrinkled a bit and she drew back, giving him a slight glare. Then he watched her dismiss herself into the guest room-- though it was Michelson's room when he was present-- and bring back out a couple chairs for the guests to seat themselves in. He noticed that she seemed just a little tense, the red hue of her cheeks unable to fade for just a moment or two. Maybe that particular comment he threw at her Tuesday before noon
was a little too much...
However, while they were trying to get themselves organized in the thankfully spacious living room, Xaria had quietly dismissed herself to walk towards the backyard where the teens were playing with the puppy. She stood just before the screen door and watched them. A slight headache began to develop and she placed a hand on her head to cradle it, biting down on her lower lip.
I shouldn't be here, she thought to herself.
I... I'm not well...Just before Xaria even thought of leaving without a word, Rosalyn spotted her and left Johnny with her friends and cousins in order to talk to her.
"Are you okay?" she asked with concern in her voice.
"...Rosalyn, can we talk? Just the two of us?" Xaria responded with her own question and massaged her temples. She backed up as Rosalyn quietly opened the screen door and came back inside.
"It won't take long.""No problem," Rosalyn nodded and led her around the corner and into the hall connected to her bedroom. Once they were inside her bedroom, she softly closed the door behind her and locked it.
"What's up?" She turned back to Xaria who had taken a seat on the edge of her bed.
"You don't look well.""I don't, do I?" she chuckled, but the brightness was fading.
"...Tuesday night after Animosity, I came home and destroyed almost everything in my home in San Diego before I burned it all to the ground. I-I was so affected by Gabriel leaving me... Gabriel..." She sniffled and covered her face with her hands.
"I... miss my Gabriel... mon dieu... w-why am I such a failure...? And the man I once called my best friend hates me... why can't I be my real self right now...?"Rosalyn was taken aback. She did recall watching Animosity Wednesday morning in the computer lab of her middle school and witnessing the "separation" between Xaria and Gabe. But the fact that Xaria brought her own home in San Diego to ruins? This wasn't like her at all, walking over and standing before her. She reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Xaria... none of this is your fault.""Yes it is," she sobbed.
"I'm so unstable... I lost Gabe because I didn't have the heart to tell him the truth. I lost James and I don't even have the strength to save him... e-every time I get close to someone, something bad happens... Wynters, Vyrus, Legend, Donavon, Czecher, Murdoch and Shikagami... they've all either betrayed me or caused me great suffering, maybe both... now "I'm" planning to take "my" revenge and annihilate anyone who dares oppose "me", starting with TaDa... I-I should kill myself now while I still have some control before it's too late...""No!" Rosalyn reached out and placed her other hand on Xaria's other shoulder, giving them a gentle squeeze and her a light shake.
"Don't you dare, Xaria. Suicide is never the solution to anything, no matter what. It doesn't end suffering; it just makes things worse. Think about the people that are still with you and love you very much. Sensei Alan and his two step-children in Charlotte, Francis and the employees in Paris, me and my friends, your fans... all of us would be devastated if you killed yourself. Death is not the way to go; living is. I know it hurts now, but...""I'm dying, Rosalyn," Xaria interrupted the young girl's motivational speech and shook her head.
"I'm dying.""W... what...?" She was thrown off guard for a moment.
"What do you mean by that?"Xaria parted her lips to say something, but she only exhaled and lowered her head.
"...Nothing. Nevermind what I said.""But--""Nevermind..." she spewed with ice and venom.
"...what I said." She was starting to lose control.
"Young lady, Xaria needs to leave before this party-- this home-- turns into dust along with everyone in it."Rosalyn was supposed to be afraid. She was just threatened as was her family and friends, yet this didn't force her away. Instead, she came in closer and wrapped her arms around Xaria, holding her close and providing her with warmth.
"...Xaria... don't give up, okay? I know you're still in there somewhere. Don't throw your life away. Be strong, okay? You have my cell phone number, so call me whenever you need someone to talk to, okay...?"Some of the spirits within the Rainbow Angel were confused. Why wasn't this girl running away or cowering in fear? It certainly puzzled negative spirits like Darius the Frightening and Delilah the Explosive. The positive spirits, on the other hand, were welcoming her strong belief that their host would recover and had support when she needed it. Emilio the Fearless came to the surface and led Xaria to slowly embrace her gently.
"...brave like your mother and intelligent like your father... you are a very gifted child. Merci. We will contact you if we need you." The Fearless watched her nod in response and pull away. "He" turned to retrieve the present from the backpack and handed it to the birthday girl.
"This is for you. Treasure it.""I will. Thank you. Please take care of my friend," Rosalyn asked the spirit possessing Xaria and received a nod in response.
"We will do our best," Emilio-Xaria offered a tiny smile, stood up and hoisted the backpack along.
"Is there another way out besides the front door? I do not want to interrupt much of the festivities, especially in your parents' presence as they are very insecure about me.""The garage and the backyard," Rosalyn replied, walked over to the door and unlocked it.
"We'll go through the backyard. Follow me." She led the way out and Emilio-Xaria followed closely behind her, the both of them quiet as they returned to the backyard without catching any of the adults' attention. Her friends and cousins noticed this, then Johnny trotted after them while wagging his tail. Rosalyn stopped, turned around and picked her puppy up.
"You can't follow us, silly boy," she whispered to him and turned to Emilio-Xaria.
"I think he wants to say bye.""Bye?" Now Kayleb walked over with his brother Terry right beside him. "But the party's barely started."
"Shhh, not so loud. Xaria's not feeling well," Rosalyn kindly hushed her cousins and then lifted Johnny up towards Emilio-Xaria.
"Real quick.""He" tilted his head, reached out slowly and took the puppy in her hands. Bringing it close, the puppy began licking her face and her demeanor switched from Emilio the Fearless to Lisa the Jovial, giggling softly and kissing him in return.
"Merci. I think I'll last long enough to buy some medication and give Xaria some control back." Kindly she returned the puppy to his rightful owner's hands.
"I'm positive we'll meet again under better circumstances. See you later, all of you." She watched as everyone of the young group smiled and whispered "see you later!" With that done, she turned and stealthily escaped the home under the radar without any questions asked. She did see a Wal-Mart on the way here; she'd have to go and investigate before she lost control again.
Anne the Lover. Lenny the Wicked. Cosette the Misery. Lisa the Jovial. Darius the Frightening. Emilio the Fearless. Delilah the Explosive. Olli the Hopeful.* * *
I know a lot of you must be confused. You don't really know what's going on with the Rainbow Angel you've come to love or hate. Or in between, whatever your level is. We're trying to straighten things out, honest. Everything she forced inside of her, when it blew up, it didn't just hurt her. It separated her. It's hard to explain without sounding crazy...
But before I really begin, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Emilio the Fearless. I am one of the trait spirits that has come out as a result of her emotions spilling profusely all around her. I represent my lady's courage and willpower to fight against the fears she comes across in her life. This situation happens to be one of the biggest fears she has ever encountered. And while I am currently a part of the broken puzzle, I am still able to take over her body and speak on her behalf. However, in reality, she is still talking to you. See, I told you it was hard to explain, but please hear me out before another spirit decides to take over.
Mr. Nikko Tada, you misunderstand the situation, which is actually understandable in our eyes. I am certain that you are just as confused as everyone else and deep down you are wondering about what is happening to our angel. Whether you actually care or not is irrelevant. What you need to realize, however, is your words are not as truthful as you make them out to be. You say you are reaching a breakthrough in your life, which is actually one of the only pieces of truth you have, but to say your heart is pure is a lie. In reality, no human being has a "pure" heart. We all possess some sort of darkness within our hearts; even we the spirits are affected. Not one of us is perfect, which is actually what makes us special. I do not understand why anyone desires perfection when it can never be truly accomplished. I understand having dreams to touch it and even working hard to be close to it, but to fully grasp it is impossible. If only those in denial would accept that, perhaps this world would not be so chaotic...
But I digress. When it comes to the completion of a human's soul, it will always be a mixture of good and evil. This is not saying that there is an equal balance of both. A human's goodness can be much stronger than their evilness, or their evilness can overcome their goodness. Perhaps they are just edging with fifty-five over good over forty-five evil. What I am trying to relate to you here, young man, is the fact that whatever form you tackle, you will still have some ugliness and some beauty and passion. It cannot be just one or the other.
Even the heartless have a heart somewhere inside. Jack Darling is one of the many perfect examples of this. Truly a bastard himself, yet despite his egotistical, self-absorbed nature, he does have some kindness in his soul, kindness in the form of love he shares with his precious daughter Rosalyn Pryce.
Pardon if I misunderstand your remark of a war between angels and demons. I am aware that my lady is known as the Rainbow Angel and you are some translation of a demon in your Japanese nickname, yet... there is no real war here to be had. You are simply over exaggerating things and perhaps being too creative in terms of your "great" battle story telling. Now I know that my lady has a very grand imagination herself, but let us not forget that she is schizophrenic. It can be managed, but it cannot be completely controlled. So perhaps I should not be speaking about you having an expanding creativity. In fact, it may be a good thing, but I believe that you should straighten things out before you truly dabble in the art of story telling. Besides, you are resembling Kaori Shikagami this way. Here, I will give you an example...
"Justice will come in this new world. Her empire will be built to the top as she readies for battle. Her soul has rotted to the core as she fights. She only searches for those of pure blood so she can dethrone them. As the empress resurrects from her eternal sleep, so does the empire and darkness within her. She will not give up. She will keep fighting until she gets what she deserves. She has no heart. She was on top of the world for awhile several months back. Her people turned against her as they saw right through her. They over threw her and now she has awakened once again."
Then there is your story telling...
"The spawn is getting closer to a breakthrough. He's off to a rocky start, but nothing will drag him down. The ultimate test is awaiting for him where he has to rise and show his true form. Will it be his form of ugliness? Or his form of beauty and passion? He won't give in to Satan himself because he is hell of a lot better than the ultimate king of hell. Unlike Satan, he has a pure heart. It may be cracked, but there is a slight chance of repairing it. He has to not only prove it with his use of words but action as well. The war grows near as angels and demons are at each others' throats. Who will stop this war? Who will be the one to end all of the hatred?"
Surely this acts as an antithesis to your well-being. Darius made a good point. ...Which is a little shocking to hear from me as I oppose him and his ways. You are turning out to be a carbon copy of Shikagami, TaDa. Why not work on your originality before you proceed with talking...?
And now it's my turn to take over! Hi, I'm Lisa the Jovial! It's nice to meet you, or, uh, it would be nice if you weren't so mean... but I understand. You were offended by what Darius, Lenny and Delilah said to you through our angel. It's pretty clear that they're very harsh, especially when they come together and attack people like that. On their behalf, I apologize. However, that doesn't excuse the fact that you're being awfully unjust and untruthful with your words.
First off, James Dean is not a... well, the bad words you used to describe him. It's not nice to use such language! The world doesn't need such things when it's already swimming in chaos. That's just rude, you pompous dork. And maybe I'm about to contradict myself here, but if it's necessary, it will be done! Anyway, James is a good human being. He's just lost and confused in the destruction and sadness that has consumed his life. You have to understand that he's going through a lot of things right now. But fear not, for the angel and I will garner the strength to save him! One way or another, we're not gonna give up.
I just hope that it doesn't require too much bloodshed... or death... gulp!
Secondly, you're really a casanova-lite of Jack Darling and the late Scott Free. I get that you're not willing to commit to one woman, and I'm sure Ms. Lina Perego is very disappointed about this, but you cannot even begin to compare to them when it comes to flirting with the ladies and taking them out on dates... and something more... er, nevermind. We gotta have some censor because there are kids listening. Emilio and Darius were both right about one thing-- which is good because they rarely have the same idea-- that you're a carbon copy of Shikagami. If anything, you're making yourself out to be some sort of copycat because you can't grasp originality or reality and be yourself. Your real self.
Which brings me to my third point of this argument: you're telling my angel that she can't even let go of grudges and that she needs to let go of the past? Excuse me? EXCUSE ME? --Uh oh, Delilah wants to come! I better make this quick! So TaDa, you're saying all this-- when you yourself hold a grudge against the world because someone in your past betrayed you and left you wounded? That's straightforward hypocrisy! You DON'T admit your flaws, you DO bottle up your emotions until they blow up in your face and you CANNOT understand a thing of what my angel is going through! It doesn't matter whose gone through worse in their life. What does matter is the healing process and seeking redemption. But not everyone is going to want to save themselves. Not everyone wants to be saved, period. We want to help save Xaria because she wants to be saved.
Are you going to want to save yourself?
Are you going to let someone-- for once-- come into your life and let them help save you?
Don't be a hypocrite or a liar, monsieur. From now on, if you're going to speak up, you better be completely honest and be able to reinforce your words, or else the world's gonna eat you alive. Like this! OMNOMNOM! Tee-hee, just a fair warning!
Whether you believe us... oh, I'm sorry, I'm Olli the Hopeful. In an odd way, I am the reincarnation and imaginative figure of my angel's mother. What am I going to say will be the last I speak of you until Animosity. Would you kindly listen? Merci. Whether you believe us or not, you must understand that what my baby girl is going through is a world of self-confliction, void of all feelings and control. Naturally, all of us are supposed to be one, and this one is the real Xaria Linette. Unfortunately, as it was already explained by Emilio, we have encountered dissonance and have been forced to separate. My baby is trying to put herself back together, but there are dilemmas in the way and she cannot quite gather herself.
This wound, it is perhaps the biggest one she has suffered in her life. While some of us spirits are using this opportunity to vent, in the means of plotting revenge or mending things for the better among many things, deep down we are all trying to bring the pieces back into one. As you can see, we do not last long when we are separate. When we are together, that is when we are our best. Contemplate it like this. We are singers who specialize in different parts. Naturally, in a choir, you have the sopranos, the altos, the tenors-- sometimes the baritones-- and the basses. While we can hold our own in solos and sometimes strengthen ourselves this way, as a choir we are much better together. Another example of this is a music band. There are many members of a band, the lead vocals, the guitarists, the bassists, the drummers, any other instrument involved in a band. Each part by itself is nice, but to be a real band, all of these parts must come together and be one.
Those are just a couple examples of what Emilio meant by "when it comes to the completion of a human's soul, it will always be a mixture of good and evil". Light cannot exist without darkness. Darkness cannot live without light. It may not be an equal harmony when it comes together, but at least it is one. I do apologize for the hurtful things my baby has said to you previous; the spirits are unable to come in unison and maintain absolute control. I am hoping that before you speak to our darling human girl, to us again, that you carefully consider your words and then say your piece.
Think before you leap, Monsieur TaDa. We will be seeing you on Tuesday night at Animosity. ... Hopefully coming closer to being one again...
